i was wondering if they would try that.

news reports say all flights out of russia are sold out & there is a massive que of cars at the border trying to get out.
Ukrainian secret weapon unveiled? This is all over the Russian internet today. It's a drone boat that washed up along the coast at Sevastopol Crimea, not far from the Russian Black Sea fleet base. It has a water jet engine and can probably move fast. There are sensors at the front, optical and FLIR on top, and a comms antenna. Unknown what kind of explosives it carries, but is apparently designed to either ram or come alongside warships and then explode. Unknown what its range is, how it is controlled or from where. Unknown if it was manufactured in Ukraine or somewhere else (like the US?)

Air Horn comes alive Air Horn is a Russian military short-wave radio station in Smolensk that appeared February 3, 2017 and has never broadcast anything except the sound of an air horn.

Until today. Today, after some blasts from the air horn, a woman's voice came on reading a coded message. It's believed that these radio stations (there are a number of them) are used to send orders to Russian agents abroad.

Recording of todays coded message

Impacts of Russia's partial mobilization are being felt many thousands of miles away. The video below of many cars lined up is from the Kyakhta border checkpoint between the Russian republic of Buryatia and the independent country of Mongolia.

I'd assume Russia to be a bit like a prison system. People shuffle in line, keeping they heads down and not trying to cause more problems for themselves to survive. The problem is that when they submit to that state of mind, it allows others with sociopathic states of mind to exploit them through force and intimidation.

It would require a complete wakeup of their general populous, far beyond some students protesting or attempted escapism in the form of AWOL. It requires people of all ages, genders and walks of life to start pushing back. Putin's minions would likely kill or capture anyone that attempts to turn the tide, but the numbers of causalities would be far less when successful, than sending men into a warzone where they will die or be captured anyway.

From my impression the Russian military recruitment & Training system is a system of subjugation
so the russian military beat out and destroy the best qualities which would be desirable in soldiers.

noticing talk of the German Leopard Tanks
would be good if the allies can collectively deliver 24 Leopard Tanks to Ukraine to use in 2 battalions of 10 moving into the winter.
having high tech weaponry that allows Ukraine to keep operating in winter as they have been doing in summer will be the death of russian moral,  tactics & strength.
Combined with the Archer & German PzH 2000 (M2005 V-LAP (RAP) 67 kilometer range)they will out match the russians with considerable advantage to deliver crushing defeat.

The united nations might want to look at resourcing systems to deal with large numbers of russian POW's in the coming months.
i expect russians will surrender on mass as the only way to stay alive with no food and no uniforms and being hammered from long range weapons & unable to move because of the winter weather.
it will be very ugly for them.

i suspect russia will starve its own soldiers to death as they freeze to death in the winter and russia will just leave them where they die and wont report their deaths as they have been doing up until now.

russia appears to be not reporting deaths so they can avoid paying familys the death payment which they are due for losing a family member in the military.
