Why isn’t Kadyrov and his 70,000 Chechens involved yet? That guy scares me more than
Putin.

Which may peripherally touch upon the necessary qualifications for Vlad's eventual successor. Whoever the ultra-nationalist is that follows Putin's reign, he'll be focused on revenge against the West, similar to how Hitler was enraged by the humiliations placed on Germany by the Allied Powers after WWI.

The flaws and facade of the Russian military have been exposed, so that will be heavily re-organized, corrected, and strengthened. That surely means an individual who more fully qualifies as a dictator than even Putin, in order to circumvent the levels of obstructing legislation that even a superficial democracy sports.

What with the number of current draft dodgers, obviously the Russian population has suffered from the loss of the permeating Soviet ideology that once incubated loyal and obedient citizens. Western degeneracy has set in, which is another ailment that must be remedied by institution of a propaganda system that's as robust and rallying as the old days, if not more.
in response to the crimea bridge attack russia has started firing MORE missiles at civilian targets in ukraine

as a response to that it would be great if ukraine can hit some of the russian leadership

You wouldn’t think a guy like Kadyrov would hitch his horse to an army like the Russians. Putin’s sad sacks are just going to get them killed. Opportunity, does it knock for him? Make the move now and take over Russian govt. Take the path of least resistance, loyalties mean nothing. Enlist the aid of Ukraine for now and bye, bye Putin.

His daddy bailed out of the jihadism of the Second Chechen War and sided with Russia. So Ramzan is just continuing the family's tradition of native betrayal or siding with the most rewarding offer. Although having served in the Russian military... Since he's Islamic and stems from an opportunistic lineage, he can forget about ever acquiring the throne of the Slavs. Or saying goodbye to the oscillating role of lapdog slash attack dog for it.

Ramzan Kadyrov wants to be global Muslim number one (2017): Kadyrov called on "our national leader Vladimir Putin to intervene in the plight of Myanmar brothers." He accused the West of being silent about it while at the same time "always rushing to support gays" – a clear reference to the persecution of gays and lesbians in Chechnya which caught international headlines this year and earned Mr Kadyrov even greater popularity in a North Caucasus region undergoing rapid Islamification.

UPDATE (Artur)

Denys is having electricity issues & internet issues
Denys is waiting for delivery of his star link antenna which has been delayed for some reason

Talk of Belarus invading from the north
i think the belarussian president is as mad as putzler
hopefully Ukraine has some fighter bombers on standby to respond in co-ordination with ground defenses if Belarus cross the Ukrainian border

i see that there is a lot of Forrest on the border so the only way belarus can move quickly is by road convoy
which would make them open to air attack
might pay to swing a few HIMARS around to cover that border

fingers crossed Germany gives the leopard 2 tanks to ukraine
they would be ideal for that belarussian border defense

im guessing a lot of the war tourists in crimea are the friends and family of the military
with them now fleeing it adds to russian military problems

the road bridge is blocked with people fleeing crimea and these people will be rich influential military related so putzler wont want to upset them by telling them they have to stay.
now supplys by road are effectively shut down to crimea and the rail bridge may be too damaged to transport tanks and heavy weapons.

Ukraine is said to be close to taking control of the water supply to crimea
this will be fantastic if they can shut it down
crimea in winter with no water is going to be awesome
hopefully himars can reach their electrical power stations too
  • need those air defense systems too
  • the existing air defense systems saved dozens of lifes by shooting down 40+ of the Orc missiles
dirty Orcs
YaY Denys is back online with power restored

i hope it gets hit by a meteor shower or solar storm

Flying Orcs get shot down

The Empire Strikes Back

Today featured many missile (cruise and ballistic) attacks on targets all over Ukraine. Sirens were howling in Kyiv and other cities and people using the subways as bomb shelters, like they did in the first days of the war. Reportedly many of the attacks were directed at Ukraine's electrical grid and several oblasts are reportedly completely blacked out. (It's probably what took Denys down for a while.)

Due to the disruption, Ukraine has halted its electricity exports to other countries. That will hit Moldova hard, since a significant amount of its electrical power comes from Ukraine.

Strikes in Kyiv.

In the video below, if the two cruise missiles shown detonating were aiming at what appears to be the the electrical generating plant with the red and white stacks, they both seem to have missed.

I think Kadyrov appreciates nothing more than a good army with good leaders. So the Ukrainian army might be the last thing he wants to take on at the moment. Hooking up with Putin would be like Hitler & Mussolini, your guys end up doing the main fighting. Maybe he’s planning to rescue Putin, Skorzeny style, once Russians turn on their leader.. Russians fought much harder in WWII it seems, they were in position Ukraine is in now. Allies threw their lot in with Russians at that time, probably ended the war faster and saved Allied lives. Kadyrov could steal a page from history and link up with the Ukraine.

I think Poots best interest is in holding Kadyrov at bay by either outright surrender or offering a peace pipe to Ukraine. Don’t know if he has either personality and he’ll probably incur the wrath of many countries by continuing the fight and demanding more from Ukraine than a loser entitled to. Think Russia would ever offer to repair what they broke? What kind of irony would that be if the only person who can help Putin save face is Zelensky.?
