The Russians have been attacking Bakhmut in Ukraine's far east Donetsk oblast for weeks. But just the last few days the Russians have been having more success. They almost reached the east side of Bakhmut where the Ukrainians held them, and in the last few days they seem to have outflanked the town to the south as well. Reports today suggest that Wagner mercenaries have penetrated the town. Even the Russians admit that Ukrainian resistance is fierce and that some neighborhoods like Zabakhmutka will be tough challenges for the Wagner mercenaries to crack.

The Russian city of Belgorod seems to have been under air attack today. By what, I'm not sure. Multiple Russian surface to air missiles were being launched. The video in the tweet below shows something flying over that doesn't look like a conventional aircraft. I'm guessing probably Ukrainian cruise missiles of some sort.
