"We got into why I named this Substack after metanoia, a Greek term for the kind of change that reorders who you are, not just what you think. I talked about my own encounter at age eight and the recurring nightmare that took thirty years to decode, my years as a bedside nurse and why I think subjective experience deserves the same weight as radar data, and why I’d rather sit with the strangeness of this phenomenon than force it into labels like extraterrestrial or demonic.
