The Financial Times is reporting that the United Arab Emirates has ordered 5,000 drones from Ukraine's TAF Industries. Qatar has ordered 2,000 drones from the same manufacturer, and Kuwait is in talks to place another large order.
The Ukraine war has become the world's drone warfare lab where equipment and tactics are rapidly perfected in conditions of battlefield necessity. Ukraine and Russia have emerged as the world leaders. Countries around the world are eagerly lining up to buy the lessons learned.
Yesterday four US B-1B strategic bombers arrived at RAF Fairford in England. One arrived direct from the United States, and three arrived after having flown from the US and bombing Iran, returning to Fairford. Unclear whether the four (using 'Pike' callsigns) will fly strike missions direct from the UK, or whether they will stage to bases closer to Iran. That probably depends on Keir Starmer's mood that particular day.
Update A fifth B-1B has arrived at RAF Fairford this evening UK time, direct from the United States. Apparently more are expected.
"EVIL: Secretary Hogsweat said "The only ones that need to be worried right now are Iranians that think they're going to live." Not the Iranian military, not their leadership. Asked if the newly disclosed Russian support for Iran put our troops at greater risk, Whisky Pete made an grotesque indiscriminate threat against the entire civilian population of Iran.

Iran International (an outlet hostile to the Iranian regime) says
Quote:An Iranian sailor who was killed when the warship Dena was struck by the US near Sri Lanka had called his father shortly beforehand, saying American forces had issued two warnings for the crew to abandon the vessel, a source close to the family told Iran International.
The Iranian navy warship's commander refused to allow the crew to abandon Dena despite the imminent threat, the source added.
I should point out that this sinking took place not far west of the Sri Lankan port of Galle. Rescue of the crew by the Sri Lankans, had the crew abandoned ship, would have been relatively easy.
HMS Prince of Wales, one of Britain's two aircraft carriers, has been placed on 5-days notice to be ready to sail. This doesn't mean that it will be ordered to sail, only that in five days that would become an option. There's some skepticism however, that the work currently being done on it can be completed in time. There's also the more serious difficulty that escort ships aren't available to accompany it, given Britain's severe shortage of destroyers and frigates.
Meanwhile, the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, accompanied by a weak but passable group of escorts, just passed through the strait of Gibraltar, headed east.

Context, illiterates.
He literally said "people who are putting us in danger." If you think that's the very people we are seeking to liberate, you're a moron.

Liar. Here's exactly what he said:
"We’re putting the other guys in danger, that’s our job, so we’re not concerned about that,” he told the outlet. “We mitigate it as we need to,” the Pentagon chief continued. “Our commanders factor all of this, but the only ones that need to be worried right now are Iranians that think they’re going to live.”

You keep leaving out, "No one’s putting us in danger." That's the context. People who would put our military in danger. If you refuse to accept that context, you're only playing your own little TDS games. [Image: 647294066_938302191899764_55632685241351...e=69B2B340]
