A poltergeist is technically a kind of ghost that is known to move objects, make noises, set fires, affect electricity, etc. Poltergeist phenomena are when objects move by themselves. It may not be a poltergeist per se behind the phenomena as any ghost can move things. Is that clear as mud? Smile

Thanks. If we go with the superstitious definition of paranormal activity...it's not easy being ''between worlds.'' Wink

Why do ghosts on video declarations never come with a professional investigator’s report? Cupboard door installer or carpenter opinions perhaps?

To be more convincing it might have been better to not have scissors and tape in the video. Makes it look like they might have just been used for the invisible thread trick.

LOL Explain how crooked hinges and shoddy carpentry can make a cabinet door open and close by itself. If you can, then you've got quite an invention there!

Did you even bother to watch the magician demonstrating "invisible" string? No? You're just a blathering true believer who can't stand anything that may threaten your irrational beliefs?

Got it.

Nope...still no evidence for strings being used. Like Zin, you're just making shit up and hoping it sticks.

See, ideologue true believers simply won't countenance anything that could run the risk of shaking their beliefs. They're too afraid because deep down inside they know how flimsy their beliefs are. But those beliefs are all they seem to have going for them, so they're bitter clingers, lashing out at anyone who contradicts them or tries to show them rational explanations.

"Invisible" string is a demonstrated fact (or do you also believe all magicians are performing actual magic, rather than just illusion). Ghosts are not. Keep trying to cope, MR.

Not in this case. There is no evidence of any string being used at all. And claims made without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

Ghosts are a claim without evidence. So the two claims being equal in direct evidence, in this particular case, Occam's razor says the one we can demonstrate is the most likely. My explanation relies solely on known things, while yours requires you to postulate something you cannot prove or demonstrate.

That makes you a crackpot, to put it nicely.
