Poltergeist activity in English pub

It's truly grand when you have to believe in ghosts when perfectly mundane explanations, like fishing line, crank-open umbrellas, and intentionally reversed footage are all highly likely or even evidenced by said footage.

Do you deny that the exact same umbrella has a crank to open it that would be well below the video camera angle?
Do you deny that the pillow tassels clearly evidence reversed footage?
Do you deny that any of the other effects could be accomplished with simple fishing line?

Or do you just avoid facts to maintain your superstitious beliefs that " a ghost did it"? Rolleyes

Too bad. I'd hoped your judgements was getting more keen after the highway lights UFOs.

What an odd response. I know you're passionate about the paranormal but I think you shouldn't simply ignore normal possibilities. Show us some quality, not this lame stuff.

If you, the paranormalist gets fooled by highway lights and we didn't then yep, you are going to have to do much better from now on. No disrespect intended but aren't you concerned about the highway light fiasco ruining your reputation?

Actually you're the one that needs to do better. Making up shit that noone can see in the video isn't debunking. It isn't anything. It's just denying what is right in front of you.

It's truly grand when Syne has a hissy fit over invisible fishing lines, offscreen handcranks, and moving pillow tassels. lol!

LOL! Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Rolleyes
So....you think you "can see" actual ghosts in the video? O_O
Reasonable explanations that would be designed to not be seen are far better than "making shit up that noone [sic] can see" in the form of incorporeal beings. Especially when you're wanting these sorts of videos to be "evidence" for such beings. That's called begging the question...or ghosts-of-the-gaps....or "ghosts did it!" None of which are evidence. So...that would be a hard "no" on being able to deny any of those reasonable and clearly evidenced explanations. You know, actually being able to make ANY case at all.

Got it! Wink

I can see poltergeist activity occurring right on the video, a phenomenon that happens the world over in haunted places and is witnessed by thousands. Plus we have the eyewitness account of the pub cleaner seeing things move. This is the real deal folks. You can't handwave this away with wishful thinking. I always know when my evidence is good by how flustered the skeptics get over it.

No? Just "activity" you simply ascribe to one (begging the question), without any further evidence but the word of the same people who likely did it all.

Yeah, yeah....we all know your tenuous grasp on the idea of "evidence". Rolleyes
And you seem to be the only one flustered here, little buddy. You haven't been able to preclude the mundane explanations given. You just keep proclaiming your dogmatic beliefs. You seem to be a devotee of some UFO/ancestor worship religion. You see the Virgin Mary (UFOs, poltergeists), in pieces of toast (highway lights, pranks), and just like those religious "miracles", all you have are other devotees to back you up. Then, like Ostro, you run around claiming to have "proof" of God (UFOs, poltergeists, etc.).

And seemingly completely unaware of the striking similarity to boot.

Wow..your little tirades are getting longer and more insulting. This video has really gotten under your skin. I suggest lying down and praying to your invisible sky daddy. Maybe he'll make you feel better.

Insulting? Everything I mentioned there is on full display for everyone to readily see. But thanks for the "invisible sky daddy" jibe to put the cherry on top of what I just said. I appreciate it, little buddy. Wink
