Intense poltergeist activity caught on video

#1
Pretty amazing..This would be almost impossible to fake. Notice the trajectories of the objects. They are being tossed up into the air, not pulled by a string. No evidence of strings anywhere or of CGI. Extraordinary compelling evidence for something really extraordinary.

Background information:

"Poltergeist activity caught on tape in kitchen. Ghost on video: Finally, I had a camera in the right place at the right time. This poltergeist activity has been occurring for a while now, but I wasn't expecting to see this much activity caught on video all at once. I put "ghost caught on tape" in the title because I really don't know if a poltergeist is a type of ghost or not. I guess no-one does. It could be some natural phenomenon for all I know, but the titles of all these Youtube videos are getting silly now. Especially the real ghost videos. Can people please stop asking if I've used a Ouija Board. Yes, I have used a Ouija board; No this is not the demon Zozo" - Mellowb1rd

"Scary poltergeist activity. This is some of the most violent poltergeist activity I've caught on tape for a while. All paranormal activity had stopped by the time I got home but not before the poltergeist had made a hell of a mess of my kitchen. Time to break out the Ouija Board again" - Mellowb1rd

Aside from being pretty sure you've posted a video of that same kitchen before, nothing there is beyond being a prank. Just your gullibility and appalling ignorance of basic physics...like trajectories.

That you still seem to believe that you could see strings, made to go unnoticed (like those used in magic acts), on a video as low quality as 480p means you're also still unaware of basic video technology.

But such "true believers" always require a high degree of willful ignorance.

Yeah you've tried to make that stupid argument before--that because you can't see the strings they must be special invisible strings. You're an idiot. This is as real as it gets.

It could be that people who dismiss the existence of paranormal activity being remotely possible, are merely scared of the idea. The possibility of unsettled souls, lurking about in the shadows, creeping about...why, it's very daunting. Of course, we should examine these incidents, and make sure we're not leaping to believing in ghosts, when there could be another (more plausible) explanation. (Occam's Razor?) But, there are those who by default(?), continuously refute the idea that a ghost world potentially exists. For them, it's non-negotiable. I won't name names. Big Grin

Strange looking kitchen to say the least. I see no fridge or stove but they could be behind the camera. There is a portable dishwasher and what looks like a front load washing machine. The ghost couldn't or wouldn't open these appliances, which might have been more sensational if it had. The back door to the left is obviously open since the folded umbrella's length would have had it hitting a closed door and possibly sliding back to where the end of pole rested on the floor originally. In fact this kitchen has all the appearances of being part of a mobile home or park model trailer. Only conjecture on my part. Oh, and I really would like to have those dishes. They get smacked around but with next to no breakage.

What really grabbed my attention was at the 15-16 second mark when the camera all of a sudden refocuses on the back wall. The rectangles' sharpness changes almost instantaneously. Can anybody explain how or why the camera would pick that moment to refocus the image? At 46-47 second mark the placemats on table move simultaneously in 3 different directions....does this suggest a ghost with more than two hands or more than one ghost?

Also at the 47 sec mark is perhaps the oddest image of all. It only lasts for a tenth of a second (approx). Pause the video at 46 secs and start clicking on/off rapidly . Eventually you will see a white rectangular looking flash appear and disappear very quickly. You can see it at the top left corner of the open cupboard door next to the right front of the table. I checked it several times to be certain it wasn't something that fell and I'm quite certain it wasn't. Can someone explain it?

The camera seems to be mounted on the table. You can see image shake when chairs hit table but camera never really moves out of position. Must have been worried about Polty tossing it around I guess. This video is better than most but it still has the most basic attribute for a hoax, too many places where someone can hide and not be seen.

It's the sort of intellectual dishonesty that assumes it knows that the paranormal isn't real and therefore all evidence for it is faked or mistaken. I guess it is unsettling for them, that the world could be haunted by irrational elements that don't fit into their rigid logical categories. It's the old basic fear of not having control. Of perhaps encountering something that can't be explained in terms of one's own belief system. But evidence like this keeps popping up, and its getting harder and harder to deny the reality of it. It is what it is, in spite of our not having a clear understanding of WHAT it is.

I don't see any refocusing of the camera. I think you're imagining what you want to be the case.

Nothing special about not seeing tiny strings in crappy quality video. "True believers" have to make up whatever excuse they can muster.

Another video of that same kitchen, on that channel, has the guy videoing nothing in the corner just to turn to find chairs supposedly stacked by a ghost...of course, he was videoing nothing long enough for someone to come in and stack the chairs. Rolleyes

But since I do believe in immoral souls, there is the possibility that one could act independently. I'm just not gullible enough to take any old video as proof positive of it. That's real intellectual honestly, as opposed to convincing yourself you've found proof of something you already believe. The real question would be why some people seem so eager to believe in ghosts but are quick to denounce an afterlife or an ultimate being.

That's just auto-focus. When the cabinet door comes open, the camera has something closer to the far wall to focus on.

MR can only see what he wants to see. Rolleyes

He doesn't even understand the technology enough to explain it away like I did.

I re-edited my post. Added a couple more oddities

Quote:That's just auto-focus. When the cabinet door comes open, the camera has something closer to the far wall to focus on.

I was thinking that but doors are opening and closing all over the place for the duration and there's only the one refocus.

That's the reflection of a knife as it is thrown off the counter. You can even hear it clang as it falls. Any more more irrelevant complaints?

Beautiful...that's the gist.... You say yes and I say no.... for evidence to be compelling useful this difference of opinion cannot happen.

Personally I would love to see you vindicated by convincing evidence but I just don't want to believe. Knowing will do.
