Pretty much proves the old adage that if you don't want to believe in something you can always find some excuse, no matter how weak, to not believe it.

I wish the drawer/counter area wasn't on a slant, unless the kitchen is built on a slant.

Ghosts or demons can harm you by shoving you down a stairs or clawing you on your back. Usually in scratches of three. I've seen some investigations where blood was actually drawn.
