I like this, thanks SS. Such a powerfully emotional feel to it. She's a six-time Grammy nominee...hmm, I need to find her other songs because she's so talented.
The only Brandi Carlile song I really like:
Get a slight ASMR reaction when she suddenly jumps to falsetto.
Very Melissa Etheridge vibe.

Pop-music wise, I'm pretty much confined to a retro world ranging from the '60s to the end of the '90s. As much as MR loves the eighties era, even he submits items from the 2000s, indicating that he at least listens to such and keeps more abreast of contemporary music than I do.
Plus, I seem to lack absolute favorites. It's more a "what do I want to subject myself to right now, for some strange reason?".
From MR's favorite(?) decade...
Nemanja Bogićević: cover of "With Or Without You" (U2) - 1987
And from the seventies...
Dariaa Zaritskaya (vocals) & Sergey Sershen (guitars) - cover of "Dust in the Wind" (Kansas)
Merry Christmas from the Waitresses circa 1981...
