Trump Asks Georgia’s Top Elections Official To ‘Find’ the Votes to Win Him the State, Audio Tapes Show

"President Trump urged Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find” enough votes to overturn his electoral loss in the state, according to audio of a Saturday phone call between the two released by The Washington Post on Sunday. “There’s nothing wrong with saying, you know, um, that you’ve recalculated,” the president told the state’s top elections official.

Raffensperger, who along with fellow Republican Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp has remained steadfast in refusing to overturn the election results, told the President on the call that there was no evidence of voter fraud or election interference. At one point, when the president falsely asserted that votes were scanned thrice, Raffensperger responded, ““Mr. President, they did not. We did an audit of that and we proved conclusively that they were not scanned three times.”

Trump lost Georgia and its 16 electoral votes to President-elect Joe Biden by 11,779 votes. Though Republican members of Congress have said they will object to the Electoral College certification on Jan. 6—even though allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 election have been repeatedly rebuked in court—it is expected to be unsuccessful in overturning the results, given that both chambers must vote to reject the results, and Democrats control the House."

Thanks for posting that clip, MR. Where did these ''rumors'' come from, then? (those Trump mentions about machinery parts being removed, etc) Huh

Trump makes a curious point by suggesting that the people involved with these investigations haven't been concerned with ''finding answers.'' I don't think he's wrong in stating that, really. The mass dismissal to look further into potential election fraud has always seemed odd to me.

Would it have been too complicated to hold a new election? In my opinion, there is reasonable doubt if election fraud transpired ...or didn't. So much of the dismissal due to '' lack of evidence,'' seems to hinge on little more than hearsay.

You know what's funny, though? About two years ago, when Trump started tweeting about election fraud, many on the left thought it was to set the stage for a Republican take over of this last election. lol Wow, if that were the case, that surely backfired.

Fact checking Trump's claims made on the Georgia phone call

Washington (CNN) "In the now-notorious phone call between President Donald Trump, Georgia's Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and staff, the President repeated multiple false claims in an effort to claim victory in Georgia, a state he lost to President-elect Joe Biden.

Trump has been tossing out debunked conspiracy theories over the election in Georgia -- a state that flipped from Trump in 2016 to Biden -- since just days after he lost. The state has certified its election results three times under Raffensperger's leadership and found no mass voter fraud.

In one of the most striking moments of the call, which was obtained by CNN and first reported by The Washington Post, Trump said, "I just want to find 11,780 votes" -- one more than he lost by -- and proposed several areas where Biden's total might be reduced.

Here's a look at the facts...."

Only uninformed morons (leftists) fail to realize that the votes Trump wanted to find were those due to election fraud...not fabricated votes. But as usual, unethical leftists project their own lack of principles upon others, claiming Trump wants Georgia to do for him what they already did for Biden.

Of course that's what he wanted. Trump is a veritable beacon of integrity and an example to us all.

I think your problem is really with the big guns being fired:
"I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith..".
It might not mean anything to you but it does look like the American Constitution is doing what it was set up to do - for better or worse.

Thanks for immediately proving my point. Leftists never understand the Constitution, beyond what they wish it said.
And all the evidence of election fraud and irregularities are no concern to leftists, because they have no principles. They just try to use principled-sounding bullshit when it suits their purposes. Hence you quoting something of which you've never demonstrated any comprehension.

Remember, you're the POS here:

That sounds like an orchestrated widespread strategy, do you believe that? I’m not sure what to believe anymore. On the one hand, it sounds completely irrational but on the other, who knows?

I don’t think it was a wise move on Trump’s part to make that call himself (or for such a call to be made at all) At the very least, he should be leaving this to his legal team, not calling election officials asking them to pretend like they recalculated and found votes for him.
I’m not dismissing that election fraud may have occurred but two wrongs will never make a right.
