A last ditch effort by team Trump..
https://www.azfamily.com/news/us_world_n...QmTfBDRVPw Trump wants Supreme Court to overturn Pennsylvania election results BY JILL COLVIN AND MARC LEVY, ASSOCIATED PRESS WASHINGTON (AP) — Undeterred by dismissals and admonitions from judges, President Donald Trump's campaign continued with its unprecedented efforts to overturn the results of the Nov 3. election Sunday, saying it had filed a new petition with the Supreme Court. The petition seeks to reverse a trio of Pennsylvania Supreme Court cases having to do with mail-in ballots and asks the court to reject voters' will and allow the Pennsylvania General Assembly to pick its own slate of electors. While the prospect of the highest court in the land throwing out the results of a democratic election based on unfounded charges of voter fraud is extraordinary unlikely, it wouldn't change the outcome. President-elect Joe Biden would still be the winner even without Pennsylvania because of his wide margin of victory in the Electoral College." ![]()
^^Not last ditch, as this suit is purely on legal grounds, without any necessity for evidence of fraud, and based largely on the legal precedent set in Bush v. Gore. And Trump can still refile the Texas suit, but with his standing as President. Standing is the only reason SCOTUS gave for rejecting the Texas suit.

Before the election Trump "concerned" himself with vote rigging through postal or electronic ballot machines. At that point in time he could of created laws, or pushed for better verification methods beforehand to make sure that it had no chance of being rigged in any way. Why didn't push for such changes at that point?
Shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted isn't going to do anything and that is likely the mentality people are going to have when they are brought into question about what they did or didn't do. They aren't going to be interested in doing things because they have nothing to hide, they are going to be more into doing what they want because there isn't any point it being questioned. ![]() (Dec 22, 2020 07:00 AM)stryder Wrote: Before the election Trump "concerned" himself with vote rigging through postal or electronic ballot machines. Why didn't push for such changes at that point? No, he couldn't. For one, states create their own laws for handling their elections. For another, with Democrats holding the House, he had no chance to pass reform anyway. There were zero options for Trump before the election, because he had not been "harmed", which is a requirement to have legal standing to sue in court. ![]()

Federal judge tosses AZ GOP lawsuit asking VP Pence to interfere in Electoral College count BY DAN BERMAN (CNN) -- A federal judge threw out a lawsuit from Rep. Louie Gohmert of Texas and several Arizona Republicans seeking to force Vice President Mike Pence to help throw the election to President Donald Trump next week when Congress meets to count the Electoral College votes. Judge Jeremy Kernodle said Gohmert and the others lacked standing to sue. Gohmert's suit was part of the desperate and extraordinary GOP attempt to overturn the presidential election using baseless and unproven allegations of mass voter fraud and charging that multiple states that President-elect Joe Biden won illegally changed their voting rules due to the pandemic. Those arguments have failed dozens of times in state and federal courts over the past two months. ![]() ![]()
