Ah, the troll starts repeating himself again. The faith and denial of any refuting evidence is strong with this one.
Haunted barracks room in Iraq |
Quote:The lighting doesn't change during the door opening, which was more violent and would require more energy. It brightens as he's looking around, because be blocks the light source and the camera automatically increases its exposure. Nor does the light dimming happen before or when the door starts to close. Only once it is facing the camera and reflecting more light. Sounds reasonable to me. Nice thing about youtube is that you can click the video on/off, 3-4 times in a second if you're fast enough. I did this for the last few seconds when I viewed it again. Unbelievably, at the 1:23 mark, the last second, the camera moves ever so slightly. I think this movement is consistent with someone shutting the camera off, putting finger pressure on the on/off button. You can either argue the ghost did it or that someone other than a ghost was present in the room. Also we can hear the door closing shut a few seconds after a supposedly frightened soldier dashes out of the room. The closing of the door sounds very deliberate, not done in haste nor is the door slammed. The exit is obviously not within camera range but the question is why would the guy close the door if running away frightened and why does the closing sound slow and meticulous? Yeah, we can hear the door squeak open, pause for what seems too long to be in a hurry, and then squeak closed with no particular haste. Another good catch. Once again MR, you have demonstrated how unreliable photographic images are when used as evidence for proof of paranormal activity. I am having more trouble believing you can't understand this than I'm having with the paranormal itself..

MR doesn't seem to know that video is composed of still images or that Zin is obviously using "photographic images" as a catchall for visual recordings.
Or he's just desperately straining for any little comeback he can muster...and he ain't coming up with much. It's a catch-all and yes, I'm not sure if MR understands that. I like 'visual recordings' better so maybe I'll start using that phrase instead. Thanks for the words. I don't want to get into the psychology of posters but I find the feigned laughter acronyms (i.e. LMAO) when used in a post response can be the equivalent of being dumbfounded, especially when your belief gauge suddenly has the 'service engine' light turn on. This PC and I are all I have as tools to dissect one of MR's visual recordings. No fancy equipment, just basic knowledge of how things work. Thus in a short period of time it's possible to create reasonable doubt, which is all I have to do. |
