Tales of telepathic dogmen

Quote:You do have to have verification for science to recognize it as a new species

That's not going to happen as long as science is dominated by egotistical materialistic white people who rely on corporate and govt funding to determine what they research. The science here will come from the grassroots efforts of common woodsfolk investigating the phenomenon themselves, as is also the case with Bigfoot...

Translation: Science is hard, so uneducated people ought to be believed just as much.

Knowing science doesn't trump the credibility of one who has actually encountered and/or researched the phenomenon themselves out in the field.

Yes, it does, since those who have supposedly "encountered and/or researched the phenomenon themselves out in the field" are completely ignorant of scientific methodology or even standards of evidence...like you. No wonder you defend them so much. You should make a banner that reads: "Uneducated unite" Wink

Doesn't matter. Many of these researchers are ex law enforcement and hunters, people I'd put far more faith in than some textbook educated science geek. They have the experience and the feel for tracking animals and for reading evidence that is simply lost on ivory tower scientists.

Ah, "ivory tower scientists", the mating call of the nut-job woo-bird. The science denying species with an elaborate dance of avoiding the inconvenient definition of words like "fact" and "verifiable". Timid, unless approached with enough cryptid or paranormal jargon bonafides.

The facts are the accounts of those who have witnessed the phenomenon. The photos and the footprints. Armchair debunkery masquerading as science and some sort of superior expertise has nothing on that and never will.

Findings and observations are not facts, oh so uneducated one. You're just conflating dubious claims with facts by a fallacious argument ad populum.

Again, where's the photo mentioned in the OP? Why can't you show it, and why are you so afraid to even address the glaring omission? O_o

Eyewitness accounts of events are facts. They're what happened. So it is in the news and history and in criminal cases. It is so in the case of these sightings.

No, eyewitness accounts are what they think happened. What actually happened can only be determined by verification. News, history, and courts seek corroborating evidence to verify what actually happened. And even then it might not be clear what happened.

But keep reiterating your complete dearth of understanding. Some reader may not believe you can really be that stupid yet.
