Throwback to appalling treatments of yesteryear. Wonder if lobotomies were also termed therapy.

Barbaric. They administer a paralytic, muscle-relaxer, anesthetic, and/or sedative so it doesn't look as horrendous as it actually is (and people don't fracture or dislocate bones like they did in the 1940s).
