Well, I have talked to God and Jesus on the same night. I was however suffering from a bad case of food poisoning by magic mushroom. Do I believe I really did have the conversations? NO. Oh, and I also saw the ceiling right in front of my face because I was levitating from my sickbed. I even remember falling back into bed. Did it really happen? The vision/sensation yes, in reality NO. Who knows, maybe I was near death and didn't realize it.

People talk to God and Jesus all the time. Does that make them hallucinate them visually? Nope...Next?

You said you've never heard of an account, well I just gave you one. Jesus was next to me in a chair and God took me by the hand for a flying tour of heaven. You thought I was talking about disembodied voices? Now you've got me wondering how old you are. For someone who knows all about NDE vision, it sure sounds like you haven't been around much. If the Virgin Mary can appear on a dog's ass then I suppose just about anything is visually possible, don't you think so?

People claim all the time that they feel the presence of god and are spoken to by Jesus. Are you saying you believe them...just so long as their perception couldn't have been witnessed by anyone else? What about people who claim to have witnessed miracles? Those could have been observed by others. Do you believe them?

Feeling a presence isn't seeing something with your own eyes like a rocking chair rocking on its own or your late mother kissing your dying father. It's just a feeling, and a very subjective one at that.

Wow..more hostile attacking of me? Do you really think this makes you appear more credible? It doesn't. Like I said, worldview defenders always get upset when confronted with evidence contradicting their beliefs. You would be far better off if you'd just relax and admit you don't know everything reality contains.

What's the one common denominator with theism? Unless you were born and raised in a cave only to emerge and proclaim God exists, the only way to believe in God is to wholeheartedly accept what another person says is the truth. I'm thinking that rarely if ever will the belief in God just suddenly appear in someone's mind all on its own. You need to hear it from somebody.
Is it the same for NDE's?

NDE's are another topic. My thread here is about real objective events happening in hospice situations. Events witnessed by people other than the dying.

By the way, where did you get the term 'worldview' from? Sounds like a cute little buzzword. Who gave it to you?

All I can say is this MR: there isn't a science forum out there that would tolerate this type of topic the way it's presented. If you think I abused you in any way, well it's nothing compared to what would await you elsewhere. I'm being gentle. Post this thread on Science.org and defend it like you are now. You'd be destroyed, unless you know that from experience. My biggest mistake today was assuming you were mature.
Anyways, in an hour I'm gone for a week and when I come back I don't expect things to be any different.
