Tonight Iran fired four drones at an American merchant ship in the Strait of Hormuz area. All four drones were downed by US military forces. Then the US again carried out an air strike against the location where the drones were launched, in the Bandar Abbas area.

Iran didn't like that and launched drones and perhaps missiles at a US base in Kuwait. There are no reports of casualties or damage as of yet.

The Iranian attack on a US site in Kuwait appears to have been comparatively weak, several drones and one missile. All of which were successfully intercepted with no casualties or damage reported. Just several loud bangs in the sky.

This morning, on the basis of a supposed leak from two unnamed officials, Axios was reporting that US and Iranian negotiators had supposedly reached a limited agreement and drafted a 60-day Memorandum of Understanding. This supposedly included Iran opening the Strait of Hormuz to all traffic, the US ceasing its blockade of Iranian ports conditional on Iran opening the Strait, with nuclear negotiations to be addressed separately at the end of the sixty days.

But soon after this hit the internet, doubts started to arise. Neither President Trump or whoever is running Iran had endorsed the supposed MOU. And again, unnamed officials on both sides started denying the Axios report, calling it a complete fabrication. For its part, Israel doesn't believe it.
