Had a remarkable American accent, supposedly maintained by speaking with it even off set, and only returning to the Aussie original when visiting his homeland. Contrast to Jason Isaacs, whose English accent frequently leaked through during season three of The White Lotus. But that may have been due to him playing a North Carolina financier, a dialect he probably never had to remotely mimic before.
I recall McMahon best as the horndog plastic surgeon in Nip/Tuck.
But Dylan Walsh's putatively more restrained character could also peak bizarrely in that area, like the time he had sex one night with Kimber's realistic inflatable doll (that she eventually marketed of herself).
It was Sean's son Matt who was the absolute master of misadventures -- like unknowingly having sex with his half-sister (Christian's daughter). And still remaining intermittently infatuated with Famke Janssen's role even after he learned that Ava was a transwoman. (The series was in the first decade of the century, when it was still morally okay to have straight guy characters flounder in deranged bewilderment over such in post-discovery.)
