President Trump has just nominated Tulsi Gabbard to be his Director of National Intelligence (DNI).

The left is getting hysterical, calling Tulsi a "Russian asset" because she wrote this:

"This war and suffering could have easily been avoided if Biden Admin/NATO had simply acknowledged Russia’s legitimate security concerns regarding Ukraine’s becoming a member of NATO, which would mean US/NATO forces right on Russia’s border."

Given that she is likely to become DNI, it's ironic that the Biden administration currently has her on TSA's terrorist watch list, for the unforgivable crime of leaving the democratic party and going over to Trump.

Apart from being a latter-day Trumpist, Tulsi is everything Liz Cheyney wants to be. Except that unlike Liz, Tulsi knows that when you send people off to war, people get hurt. You don't do it lightly.

Funny how Trumpers were all attacking Harris as if she was directly involved with all the policy making of the Biden administration. Now she did nothing? But hey it's a new age now! The era of alternative facts! Truth whatever you want it to be at the moment!

Kamala and Biden are the ones who claimed she was involved with decisions. Republicans were happy to tie her to Biden's copious failures. But you can attack someone on their own stupid claims without believing them. I do it all the time with your ghost nonsense.

No alternative facts, just the simple fact that two things can be true at the same time. Kamala did nothing, but since she claimed she did, it was fertile ground for political attacks.

And this morning the Senate voted to confirm Tulsi as Director of National Intelligence (DNI). Hopefully she is no longer on the terrorist watch list, where she was placed by the Biden administration.

The vote was 52-48, entirely party-line, except for one Republican defector who voted 'no' with the democrats, former Majority Leader Mitch McConnell! (It's probably time for him to retire.)
