He would be just too friggn old! Enough already. The democratic party needs some new blood. Young politicians with fresh ideas! We need another Kennedy or Obama!

WASHINGTON (AP) — "A majority of Democrats now think one term is plenty for President Joe Biden, despite his insistence that he plans to seek reelection in 2024.

That’s according to a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research that shows just 37% of Democrats say they want him to seek a second term, down from 52% in the weeks before last year’s midterm elections.

While Biden has trumpeted his legislative victories and ability to govern, the poll suggests relatively few U.S. adults give him high marks on either. Follow-up interviews with poll respondents suggest that many believe the 80-year-old’s age is a liability, with people focused on his coughing, his gait, his gaffes and the possibility that the world’s most stressful job would be better suited for someone younger.

“I, honestly, think that he would be too old,” said Sarah Overman, 37, a Democrat who works in education in Raleigh, North Carolina. “We could use someone younger in the office.”

At first glance, it might seem like this conflicting instance of ageism fervor in the Party [that seems to conflate with the snoozing and dementia disparagement on the other side] could be contingently excused by it concerning another oppressive white, straight male.

But in a broader partisan context, Hollywood progressives [i.e, virtue-posturing capitalists or the quasi-fraudulent left] still exercise age discrimination on women. Only a few years ago the creative and administrative team of "Animal Kingdom" replaced Ellen Barkin with a younger actress in retrospective storylines. But the former's social media comments suggested she didn't decide to leave the show voluntarily (as the public, studio spiel was supposedly portraying her exit).

How strange that even the Dems are hoping this weekend goes the wrong way for him. As if he needs any more help after the Afghanistan exit and so many other things that the public and even the journalists swiftly forget.

EDIT: Nah, UFOs "traveling too low" at commercial airline range means he and Trudeau are in the clear shooting them down, regardless of who ultimately owns them. If ordinary weather balloons, they still weren't adhering to safety protocol.
