Trumper's want Trump to run again with JFK jr as a running mate

Trump's lunatic fan base...

"Followers of the far-right group QAnon want former President Donald Trump to run for office again in 2024 and select John F. Kennedy Jr., who is dead, as his running mate, according to a Politico report published on Monday.

Trump held his first rally of the year in Florence, Arizona, on Saturday, with many attendees decked out in QAnon gear, according to Politico.

Members of the right-wing movement believe in a conspiracy theory that falsely alleges JFK Jr. — who died in a plane crash in 1999 — is actually alive, is an avid Trump supporter, and will soon show himself publicly.

"He's supposed to reveal himself on the 17th if he's truly alive. I think we'll see him," one rallygoer told Politico.

The JFK Jr. conspiracy theory has existed within the QAnon sphere for years, and the date of his return has changed over time. Followers recently flocked to Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas — the site of President John F. Kennedy's assassination — in hopes that JFK Jr. would make a comeback.

Believers of QAnon, a fringe movement that has become mainstream within the Republican Party, broadly maintain the conspiracy theory that Trump is fighting a "deep state" cabal of Satan-worshipping pedophiles. JFK Jr., according to QAnon followers, is in alliance with Trump and secretly fighting alongside him.

Trump himself has amplified different conspiracy theories over the years and has embraced elements of the far-right faction as part of his base. At his rally over the weekend, Trump questioned whether the FBI had played a part in carrying out the Capitol riot on January 6, pushing a right-wing conspiracy theory.

Trump has repeatedly hinted at a 2024 run, but has stopped short of an official campaign announcement. He has reportedly been mulling potential vice presidential picks, though JFK Jr. has not been named on any rumored lists."

Anecdotal accounts of a handful of individuals in a single Trump rally. No, QAnon is not mainstream among Republicans. Intellectually dishonest leftists (Business Insider, etc.) just conflate a few things that Republicans do believe, like factual evidence of bad actors in government, with belief in all QAnon conspiracies. This is a caricature of weak-minded people desperately reaching for anything to cudgel their political opponents...knowing they're facing devastating losses in the mid-terms.

And MR's the last to gloat about conspiracy theories.

WASHINGTON — "Washington, we have a problem — politically, informationally and societally — when 15 percent of Americans agree with the QAnon statement that the U.S. government, media and financial worlds “are controlled by a group of Satan-worshipping pedophiles who run a global child sex trafficking operation.”

Or when 20 percent agree with this statement: “There is a storm coming soon that will sweep away the elites in power and restore the rightful leaders.”

Or when another 15 percent agree that “Because things have gotten so far off track, true American patriots may have to resort to violence in order to save our country.”

These are the results of a PRRI-IFYC study that was conducted online March 8-30, but that was just released Thursday.

And the study finds that Republicans, those who trust far-right news outlets like OANN and Newsmax, and white evangelicals and Hispanic Protestants are all more likely to believe these statements than other Americans.

It’s hard to call something fringe when approximately one-in-five Americans believe these statements, especially one that true patriots “may have to resort to violence” to save the country."

LOL!

That "one-in-five Americans" is only achieved due to contributions from independents and Democrats.

If you look at the actual study, you'd also find that 14% of independents and 8% of Democrats believe that “the government, media, and financial worlds in the U.S. are controlled by a group of Satan-worshipping pedophiles who run a global child sex trafficking operation.” Oh, and 23% is no where near a majority of Republicans.
It's far more telling that any percentage of Democrats believe government and media are run by pedophiles, seeing as they are the primary apologists for pedophiles. There would likely be more support if you omitted the "Satan-worshipping" part (signalling more conservative values), as more Democrats are non-Christian.

18% of independents and 14% of Democrats believe that “there is a storm coming soon that will sweep away the elites in power and restore the rightful leaders.” Again, not a majority of Republicans.
There would also be more support for "sweeping away the elites," if they were characterized as "institutional racism" rather than "restoring the rightful leaders."

Similarly for “Because things have gotten so far off track, true American patriots may have to resort to violence in order to save our country,” except this one is specifically worded to get less agreement from independents and Democrats, who generally don't care about patriotism (as per Moral Foundation Theory).

Support for "racial justice" protests that very often turned violent were overwhelmingly supported by 75% of Democrats, over the 42% and 7% of independents and Republicans respectively. https://www.npr.org/2020/09/03/908878610...sts-poll-f

"Some 56% of Republicans believe that QAnon, a far-right conspiracy theory, is mostly or partly true, according to a new Daily Kos/Civiqs poll released Wednesday, a remarkably high number considering many of the outlandish assertions espoused by QAnon supporters.

One in three Republicans (33%) say they believe the QAnon theory about a conspiracy among deep-state elites is “mostly true,” and another 23% say “some parts” are true.

Only 4% of Democrats think the theory is even partly true, according to the Daily Kos/Civiqs poll, with 72% of Dems responding that the QAnon conspiracy is “not true at all.”

QAnon supporters claim President Trump is defending the planet from a cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles (consisting mostly of Hollywood celebrities, liberal politicians and "deep-state" government officials) who are running a secret child sex-trafficking ring."

Always wondered what would happen if some people took Pastafarianism seriously. C’mon Man, who believes this crap? QAnon sounds so much like FSM proponents.

And? Yes, many Republicans do believe that leftists in government and media tend toward pedophilia, as many prominent cases and apologists have evidenced. And Satanists certainly aren't Republicans. So yes, you can likely find partial agreement on such points without agreement with conspiracy theories. And there's plenty of evidence that bad actors exist in the FBI, IRS, etc.. While there need be no coordinated conspiracy, partisan players in law enforcement and bureaucracy can still manipulate things. This is a trivial attempt at painting the whole party through guilt by association. It's intellectually lazy.

Duped you anyway.

While I don't believe there was a widespread/nationwide scheme to rig the last election, it seems like there's truth in that certain cities/states were reporting false numbers. That said, if Trump stands out as the only forerunner for Republicans in the next election, I'm concerned this will happen again. Not to say they (Dems) wouldn't thwart the results if any Republican were to run, but just saying...
