Are just 0.01 percent of UFO reports unexplained?

Better than water scooping helicopters @ Gosford but not around in ‘94 unless some kind of prototype?

"Erickson Air-Crane helitankers were first brought out to Victoria in December 1997."

The ufo sighting in Gosford occurred in 1994.

Too much - way too much wishy-washy endlessly recycled philosophical pontification, plus airy-fairy gaseous 'intermediatory peacemaking' going on in the relevant UFO/UAP/USO forums imo. What the hell is the matter with some of you? Lacking spinal stiffness? Unwilling to commit to a definite but decidedly unpopular position? Yeah I'd say that's what it gets down to. Avoidance of stigmatization as 'UFO nut' by the equally gaseous hypocrite 'debunkers' brigade. Or the craving for universal acceptance. The desire to be loved by all. Follow that strategy and sure it has dividends. Just not worthwhile ones imo.

The overall evidence is overwhelmingly in favor of nonmundane UFO encounters. Lots and lots of them. With many supernatural connections/implications.
Somehow, that gets translated into some folks minds as 'well, perhaps something significant might just have happened in some cases'. Pathetic. There is plenty of evidence to make a far more definite judgement. IMO!

Who are you criticizing? Only me, MR and Leigha/Wegs seem to have posted over there recently.

Are you attacking me? (Why not, everyone else does... )

And what's with the plural, too? SF has only one UFO sub-forum, and that's sharing space with monsters, ghosts (some kind of "paranormal diversity" policy/quota, anyway).

In hindsight I probably should have just bit my tongue and said nothing. I think very differently to both you and Leigha/Wegs. The latter chooses to always sympathize with both sides. A safe position pretty well guaranteed to get likes all round.

You on the other hand always take a guarded position as to nature of UFO phenomena, but are unafraid to hit back at critics. Fine - to an extent.
It's not my position to dictate to anyone what to think or say, but it strikes me that looong SF thread is a true life example of Groundhog Day.
Long winded responses from both JR and yourself that change only in the particulars of words used. Over the course of hundreds of pages!
Your choice. Maybe that situation suits as pastime. I'm of the strong opinion it's true for JR anyway.
