An interesting case of something moving by itself. Especially credible seeing the guy is making a video about something totally unrelated while the event occurs behind him unbeknownst to him.

"You will notice that none of the other videos he posts have anything to do with ghosts. Most are on art, or family, or blogging. This is the only ghost video he has posted. He is not a paranormal investigator, but rather a family man who enjoys art. This makes me feel that what we see here is real."

Hmm, if the cabinet door had remained open, it could be that the door hinge was loose or something but ...it closed! I don’t know, but this might be the most convincing video you’ve posted. lol
I’m interested to see what others here think as to how an average youtuber could design the cabinet to open and close in such a way, that it appears like it happened on its own. Maybe an editing trick?

First, why does he run to stop the video? Wouldn't you want to continue documenting, to catch more activity, or at least finish your presentation? Looking at his channel, why didn't he make another video, or title this one, to be the "final step in the process" of what he's explaining? Where are any videos of the other steps?
Second, the fact that it opens slowly but slams closed explains it all. The string around the corner can only pull the door open, to where it's basically pointing at the corner of the cabinet. The second string leading behind the camera cannot close it as gently as it opened. It can only slam it.
Even assuming a prankster ghost who likes to startle people, it could just as easily open the door with enough force to do that as it could closing it.
People are gullible.

Didn't look at his "magic trick" videos, but just the fact that he has them (or potentially dabbles in sleight of hand) is kind of suspicious...

Ah yes..the old standard invisible string theory. Well, you know what they say: claims made without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

Claims of ghosts without evidence can be dismissed without evidence. 9_9
It's very easy to make a line unnoticeable in 480p video. Stage magicians have done it in front of live audiences for ages.
Here's invisible thread, against a white board, filmed at 720p:

So Occam's razor says we know for a fact this exists, but have no direct evidence that ghosts do.

You still show no evidence that there are strings involved in this instance. It's just you're usual BS, The evidence for a ghost is the video itself--the cabinet door opening and closing by itself.

Again, we know for a fact such things exist, but we don't know if ghosts exist. Science can prove one but not the other.
Making the claim of "the cabinet door opening and closing by itself" would place the onus on you to prove that wild claim. But we all know you're just a crackpot.

MR - what is the difference between a ghost and poltergeist? Are poltergeists “known” for moving objects and making noises? I’m wondering how ghost hunters differentiate between the two.

Do you know what kind of hinges are on the doors? Pins? Are they straight? Automatic self closing? Hydraulic? Self closing? Are cupboards plumb? Was it proven that door had never done this before? We’re all other probable causes of door behaviour ruled out? Why do ghosts on video declarations never come with a professional investigator’s report? Cupboard door installer or carpenter opinions perhaps?
To be more convincing it might have been better to not have scissors and tape in the video. Makes it look like they might have just been used for the invisible thread trick.
