Quote:My theory is that the closet gets filled up with air at atmospheric pressure from leaks inside closet space.
Prove it then. And it still doesn't explain the doorknob turning. No amount of pressure would open a door that is closed.

Doorknob would turn when latch pin moves on an older mechanism. Lived in an old house and have seen that affect. I suppose a ghost that haunts a closet working a latch pin back & forth just to open a door and kick kids toys over from the same spot on the floor is more believable.
Jerry Bruce has to eliminate all other possible causes before claiming a ghost did it. He did not and that renders his videos as incomplete evidence for apparition....Done Quote:Jerry Bruce has to eliminate all other possible causes before claiming a ghost did it. That's compelling evidence for the paranormal. There is no other explanation. Never asked before but can you prove to anyone you're 100% a believer in ghosts? Quote:Never asked before but can you prove to anyone you're 100% a believer in ghosts? Why would I want to do that? No..I just post paranormal experiences here because they are interesting and amazing events. Everybody in the world likes to hear about such things. Unless you're a skeptic in denial who is upset by the possibility of paranormal phenomena. Quote:Unless you're a skeptic in denial who is upset by the possibility of paranormal phenomena. I'd welcome it...if only there was some. (May 20, 2020 08:00 PM)Magical Realist Wrote: He already did that with the three videos. Movement of objects with no apparent physical mover. What about a physical mover that isn't apparent? Z-man's pressure theory or maybe even some photo fakery? I'll say that in my house there's an interior door that always opens when the garage door is pulled shut. The interior door doesn't latch and closing the garage door seems to create a pressure wave that always dislodges the door and opens it a few inches. Quote:That's compelling evidence for the paranormal. There is no other explanation. 'Compelling' how? Something that's compelling to you, or something that should compel belief in ghosts out of the rest of us? I have no argument with the first, but the second ain't working in my case. Doesn't seem to be working on Z-man either. 'There is no other explanation' just seems kind of indefensible.
The old pressure theory doesn't explain the turning of the doorknob or the overturning of the toy. You did see all three videos didn't you?
