You don't have to be political to hate Trump. Lots of people find him a disgusting douche. I imagine most women generally hate his guts. And independents. And even many Republicans. Trump just has that hateable quality that turns people off. And that's why he will lose in 2020.

[...] Instead of just admitting an honest mistake and moving on, the president insisted on dying upon the Alabama hill on Monday...
Group ideological pride or individual leader hubris 101: Don't obsessively refrain from publicly admitting mistakes unless you control the media of your country. Otherwise the ridicule will spiral into epic proportions that will ring forever in history archives. (I.e., get the order correct: An authoritarian party or a despot exhibits its pathological need for a facade of perfection after all institutions in the homeland are subdued, NOT BEFORE.)

Noone has to make up Trump's lies. This is day 5 and he's still trying to justify the Alabama lie on Twitter. He's a very sick man.
If Trump not fessing up to a mistake about a hurricane (as if people were actually getting their weather warnings from the president) is what you're resorting to making a big deal about, you're truly sad.

What's sad is him making a big deal out of it and lying more and presenting a marked up weather map to the world to prove he was right. It's the kind of petty obstinance we would expect from a spoiled 6 year old. He is an embarrassment to all Americans.

And what part of that is surprising or out of character for Trump? You'd think it would be old hat for people who are so obsessed with the man. But that's the point. They're so eager to find the smallest, silliest bit of dirty that they make something so goofy news. Please, get a life.
Yeah, so now Americans are at fault for expecting mature and adult behavior from their president? Bullshit. Our standards for basic decency and civility and honesty will not be compromised on his account. If he constantly falls short, it's on him, not on us. And we have the right to call it out.
