Trump's UN escalator fiasco

Escalator stops then no teleprompter for the first fifteen minutes of speech and no auditorium audio (just translator earpiece audio).
Sounds like sabotage. Kick these petulant passive-aggressives out of the country.

It looks like Trump's own videographer accidentally tripped the safety cutoff switch when he went up the escalator backwards. It's interesting to me that it was rather uncannily foreshadowed by UN staff joking about it. I'm seeing more and more ironic synchronicities in news events. The shooting of Charlie Kirk right when he was talking about mass shooters is another one. I'm not saying these events were orchestrated to happen, but that there's an increasing tendency of the "thought or spoken about" coinciding with actual events. Last Sunday I posted a quote by Theodore Roosevelt. No less than about 10 minutes later on a political show I was watching the same was quoted by Chris Christie. Reality/consciousness is changing IMO. As Beck famously put it, "I can feel it!"

It was no coincidence with Charlie. The shooter could hear the loudspeakers.
Escalators don't shut down from walking backwards. 9_9

With the CK shooting, it takes some time for a sniper to line up his aim with his target. With Charlie moving around it would take even more time, at least 30 seconds. The question about mass shootings took only about 5 seconds. There's no way the sniper could've known he was going to ask that nor could've timed it. It was sheer coincidence.

As for the escalator:

"Robert Rauch, a Florida-based elevator inspector with more than three decades of experience, said: "An escalator should not break down, as long as it's being maintained properly. But however, there are many safety micro switches in the entire unit that would stop the escalator in certain circumstances, and that's how they are designed. That's what they're there for. They're there for safety reasons."

"Those switches can be triggered by obstructions, heavy loads, or shoes getting caught in the comb plate. "They could get caught in a comb tooth, and for safety reasons, there's micro switches that will stop the escalator, just for that reason. So somebody doesn't get injured or has a foot cut," Rauch said.

It looks like by going up backwards the videographer rammed into the comb plate accidentally activating the safety cutoff.

Charlie wasn't moving around. He was sitting still.

You'd have to show evidence for something triggering the escalator comb plate:

Triggering an escalator comb plate is generally not easy for a person, but easy for a trapped object, as the safety mechanism is designed to detect and stop the escalator if something like a shoe, heavy debris, or even gravel gets caught between the comb plate and the steps. While a person's weight alone is insufficient to trigger the safety switch, a heavy load or obstruction that wedges itself into the teeth of the comb plate can cause sufficient force to activate the switch and shut down the escalator.

So where's the damaged shoe or other "heavy debris" of the videographer?

What's more likely is that a UN employee tripped the breaker, just like they said they would.

Yes, each escalator runs on its own circuit breaker to ensure safety and allow for maintenance. In fact, an escalator's entire electrical system is designed with a high level of redundancy and isolation to prevent system-wide failures.

To mark Trump’s arrival, UN staff members have joked that they may turn off the escalators and elevators and simply tell him they ran out of money, so he has to walk up the stairs.

Lincoln Tyler wasn't the shooter in the movie. He was the boxer who took a dive. The assassin was a Palestinian terrorist... back when everyone knew they were terrorists.
No more coincidental than Enemy of the State (1998), a movie about government surveillance justified to stop terror attacks, having the NSA director with the birthday 9/11... and the attack happened in 2001.

They told the London newspaper that they were going to do it, then it happened. So it's hard to believe that it had an innocent explanation.

That's not exactly the way to encourage the US government to be more favorable towards the UN...
