LOL! The video about "green screen suits" shows nothing at all. It's just him talking to the camera with intolerably crappy audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1jIQwv6mHE
According to the transcript, because I can't be bothered to decipher this garbage, he doesn't even mention "strings" or "overlays" (if so, provide time codes).
But apparently he does know that it doesn't take much to keep gullible people hooked.

Found this comment on mellowbird debunking video. It’s apparently a quote from Mark Twain. However even if not, it speaks volumes:
‘It’s easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled’
I think if a true believer was told by the video maker that it was fake then he/she wouldn’t question it. Makes sense right? The thing is, the maker is the only person they would believe. If the videographer claims authenticity and his brother/best friend/wife speaks up two days later saying video was faked, I wonder if they’d be believed by people convinced the footage is real?

Wow, so the guy who might be faking poltergeist videoss posted "failed" attempts at faking poltergeist videos.
The gullibility here is deep.

That’s the video where I saw the Twain quote. Glad you caught that failed attempts part. Need to find something that would corroborate that claim, don’t want to jump straight to believing the kid outright. Like to find a clip of mellowbird saying he faked it. I think that would be the fair & just thing to do. Going to search and hope to verify.

I wouldn't bother. We both know what can be done with, especially low quality, video. We all know tricks magicians use, in front of live audiences, to make people and objects appear to levitate, and we're all familiar with the existence of things like strings, pulleys, and video editing/compositing software. Why isn't MR also claiming that illusionists are really doing magic, by way of the same psychic powers a poltergeist might use? After all, we don't see the method used to perform illusions any more than they are readily apparent in poltergeist videos...both by design.
And let's face it, there's nothing that could shake a true believer like MR. It's his religion.

Because no professional magician is claiming to do real magic. Why should I attribute to them claims they never made?

You're going to like this one Syne. If you haven't already, go to MR post #70 and watch this guy's upside down drinking glass explode on his Ouija board, it's the bottom link.
Then watch this next link .... start at 7:45 mark and watch. Doesn't take long from there. The link is in Italian but the language has no bearing on what transpires.

It's called, believe it or not, Bologna Glass/Bottle. Interesting item. Let's call it Fizz-icks in action.
Bologna Glass:
Quote:A Bologna bottle, also known as a Bologna phial or philosophical vial, is a glassbottle which has great external strength, often used in physics demonstrations and magic tricks. ... It is created by heating a glass bottle and then rapidly cooling the outside whilst slowly cooling the inside.
A parlor trick. I cannot imagine what it takes to believe a poltergeist is responsible for breaking the glass in Post 70. If you have to incorporate a simple magician's trick into your real poltergeist video then the entire video is suspect and probably a fraud, definitely not evidence of a ghost. Plain and simple.
Time to remove Mellowbird from the list of believables.
