Atheists will despise the idea of me coming back to sciforums, which is why I should

Why is it so important to you to post over there? I don't have any influence on that board and I don't really get along with most of their current moderators (the ones I liked better mostly seem to have disappeared). If I supported someone, that would only discredit that person in their eyes.

Seems like I recollect Bells mentioning somewhere (in the course of talking about something else) that members could get banned for even relaying messages from banned members. Maybe that was publicly posting such rather than personal messages to mods, though. I always had an ideological-based indolence about reading any of the officially stated rules over there. Purely relied on blundering into the specifics of them by chance.

Yeah, I know. You posted a link to your YouTube channel.  I watched your uploads. You’re a little odd, but you appear to be harmless, or so I hope, but this Langan guy is creepy.  Confused

I have a YouTube channel? How do I get one of those? Can I get one accidentally? Not first time someone has tried to steal my internet identity. Did I upload any porn? Was it any good?

Unless "Craig Dingle" is a double entendre, I'm not sure the audio-video where you're garbed in a Santa Claus outfit was even naughty in a Benny Hill kind of way.

Craig Dingle? Tame by any standard. If someone is looking at.my youtube channel then I would have no.idea how I ever got one. Checked my devices and YouTube is asking me to create one by clicking a tab on all of them.. I've never done that nor did I know I could.

However, just to prove my Internet Longevity you will find Zinjanthropos in the urban dictionary, put there by some guy named Digital Rat, an old.acquaintance on the ancient Discovery Channel Forum. It has to deal with me being a whacked out birdwatcher. I treat it as a compliment.

You can probably pm JamesR and bring my plea to his attention as well as a recommendation.

I have already proven God exists on these very forums. Now it is a question of who understands it.

Quote:As Christopher Langan noted, it is impossible to deny God on logical grounds, yet we have members lying and denying that they have any inclination towards belief.
I don't have any inclination towards belief in God, and that's no lie. I think that I have reasonably good reasons for most of the positions I take on those kind of matters.

Yet you continue to wonder whether or not there is a God.

Quote:You will not be taking any risks and I don't plan to jeopardize your reputation if you undergo this task. You will see me fully and completely reformed into a new man obeying new rules and supporting my points.
Quote:You still seem to have this long-standing Langan fascination of yours. I don't find Langan credible or even particularly interesting. You seem to believe that you have received some wonderful revelation and have a mission to convert everyone else to something. That will get you into trouble very quickly over there.

You are welcome to believe whatever you want to believe, Ostro. It's fine with me. But if you expect me to join you in believing whatever it is, you will find me a very tough nut to crack. I have my own interests and my own direction, and believing in God (or in his prophet Langan) most assuredly isn't what I'm looking for at this point.

That's understandable. That is your position on the matter. I happen to know that God is real and that He/ It exists in another realm altogether which is why it is difficult to enter that realm in order to interact with Him/ It. Spirit is 90 degrees to matter. The God generates itself from nothing, popping into existence from nothing and realizing itself from nothing. This interaction occurs when the self-distributed reality allows the observer to participate in the ongoing process of creating reality due to self-inclusion.

The function of SciVillage is presumably not that of a permanent whining lounge for the lost-love of another message board. Just imagine (from the other's POV) the figurative scenario of your going to a new girlfriend's place and regularly lamenting about a stormy divorce with and loss of an ex-wife.

I suggest getting over this neurotic obsession (accept the reality of how bridges are burned in the world of web forums). Or move on and join the The Science Forum to tell the sob stories of marriage termination to its bartender. Some of the same members there are also at SciForums (mathman, exchemist, billvon, geordief, Janus, etc). If nothing else, chatting with them about this subject might jar your memory and give you an idea of what would soon happen even if you did get a foot into the door of SciForums again.

Or put the monikers of whatever "atheists" you want to deliver salvation to in a search engine (particularly a specialized one for message boards) along with whatever applicable keywords like science, religion, member, etc -- and see what other spots pop-up that they seem to have joined: "New member Exchemist checking in". If familiar personal characteristics seem sported by those individuals, there's a viable chance the name-handles aren't coincidental.

If as the title suggests this is really about spite or revenge rather than some masochistic need to be flogged once more by the mods of a lost-love of an old forum, the remedy is still the same: Track down other gab-sites where relevant members hang out at, join-up, and start giving them the Angus McDonough ("The Prophet") proselytization.

CC,

Forgive my incessant complaining but I have yet another problem. I attempted to register for The Science Forum but the image verification says "ReCAPTCHA V1 IS SHUTDOWN" and I can't seem to upgrade it to V2.

As members who might be familiar with any glitches, problems, and work-arounds over there, sounds like a job for Zinjanthropos and Secular Sanity. If nothing else, maybe they can relay word to a mod or technical advisor.

EDIT: Here's another board where at least a few familiar names seem to be hanging out, if not a lot more tucked away in the woodwork: http://www.scienceforums.com/

Exchemist certainly seems to be ubiquitous.
