They thought they were real children at first. Anybody would. He laughed as they screamed and ran away. Which only lends more credibility to the sighting.

"A spooky video filmed by police in Mexico shows an eerie encounter with what they believe to have been a pair of ghost children. According to a local media report, the strange incident occurred last week as two cops in the community of Jala were out on patrol and heard odd noises emanating from a schoolyard. They sure didn't sound "particularly perplexed and unnerved." And there's nothing "uneasy" about that laughing. Just ghost-ghouls projecting their beliefs on what they see. The laughter was triggered by the figures screaming and running, instantly relieving the tension they were facing off with ghosts. Totally natural reaction.

There was no tension, in the words spoken or the voices, leading up to the laughing.

Just like your poor reading comprehension and penchant for avoiding facts, you just make up whatever you really really want to see.
