This is the environment ICE agents are operating in:

Redditors react to an ICE agent defending himself from a woman who tried to run him over:

>"K*ll ice agents"
>"It's f*cking time"
>"Arm yourselves"
>"Open season"
>"Put these nazi sh*stains in the dirt"
>"I'm heading to Minneapolis, ICE better pack up before I get there"

Everyone knows hyperbolic protest words and phrases don't kill and certainly don't imply any motive to kill. But ICE agents do kill and did so here without any justification whatsoever.

Are these also just "hyperbolic words and phrases"?

>"K*ll the gays"
>"It's f*cking time"
>"Arm yourselves"
>"Open season"
>"Put these gay sh*stains in the dirt"
>"I'm heading to Minneapolis, the gays better pack up before I get there"

Speaking of this frame-by-frame...
https://youtu.be/AdgEsZc27zs?si=GKu3AAMW9iW1zoSO&t=551
The officer was not in front of her vehicle until she backs up and points it at him.
Her front tires (front-wheel drive) start to spin while pointed directly at the officer.
The officer can hear the engine rev and the back of the SUV drops, evincing significant acceleration.

The woman's wife says, "I made her come down here."
Explains why she was on the curb filming.

Funny..I heard ICE agents don't carry body cams.

And as said before, she cuts to the left to back up, and cuts to the right to steer right, probably to avoid hitting the dufus standing in front of her car. This is all clearly shown in the real videos. If she was aiming for the agent, she wouldn't have backed up and then cut to right. She would've just accelerated straight ahead with no steering.

Fake footage.
Not according to the BBC: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cz7yv4524gqo

My bad. It's the footage from the cellphone the officer is seen filming with.

Completely ignoring the fact that the wheels are clearly spinning while pointing straight at the officer and gunning it.
I don't think she was intentionally aiming at him, as I've already said it looks like she was fleeing. But the officer in danger couldn't know that. They can't read minds, nor have the luxury of frame-by-frame footage from your armchair.

The agent saw her turning her steering wheel. He saw her back up. If he screwed up and interpreted this as ramming into him, he should at least be held guilty of manslaughter and receive a prison sentence and removed from ICE service. Then there are the two totally unnecessary extra shots in her side window that may complicate this verdict. A definite indication of a rage killing. In murderer's lingo that's called "finishing her off."

Going over the lies..

Nope, he was completely surprised and had no idea where the wheels were pointed within that 2 seconds. Turning a steering wheel doesn't tell you where the wheels are currently pointing. You know, on top of dealing with an immediately dangerous situation.

She did back up... pointing the truck directly at him. It was gunning it toward him that was the immediate danger. Again, once you react to a credible threat, you cannot instantly stop that reaction, hence the follow up shots. There was never any evidence of rage.

Clearly, legal self-defense. But we know you don't understand the law. She impeded law enforcement (performatively, at the behest of her wife). She backed up, pointing her truck at him. She refused orders from law enforcement, needlessly escalating the situation. She gunned it, likely seeking to flee law enforcement. That's at least three laws violated by her and justifying the reasonable use of force.
