EXCERPTS: Hunter Biden has revealed he is against open borders and illegal migration in an apparent shot at his father's presidency in a wide-ranging interview.
The 55-year-old Biden spoke to Shawn Ryan in a five-hour interview, in which the former first son also ripped his father’s Afghanistan pullout and admitted to being $15 million in debt.
Hunter, who at one point in the chat said: 'I don't even know if I'm a Democrat anymore,' appeared to concede that his father’s border policies were a disaster.
'We need a vibrant immigration, but we don't want immigrants that are coming here illegally draining us of resources,' he said, going against much of the pro-migrant rhetoric of the left during his father's presidency.

'I think there was a better way to do it. I can blame it on his generals, the people, the way we did it. But my dad always knew the buck stops with him. That was a failure.'
In addition to the US service members killed, a government watchdog report found that billions of dollars worth of US taxpayer-funded weapons and equipment were left behind in Afghanistan after the 2021 troop withdrawal.
