"A few years ago, a friend came to visit me in Michoacán. We went out to some places and took photos together. I posted them on my social media without paying attention to them.

Some time later, my friend passed away, so I looked for photos to remember her. In one of the photos, you can see a woman in a white dress behind me, and if you look more closely, it even looks like her dress doesn't have sleeves.

It's worth mentioning that only my two friends and I were there when the picture was taken. Another friend of mine who went took our photo. No one else.

Also to add on about the area… a few years ago bodies of people who were killed by the cartels were found there. It was kind of a dumping ground for them.

Every time I see the photo, I get chills."

When they returned home, shaken, they brightened the images to see more and that’s when the horror deepened. The figure’s features came into focus: a gaunt, skeletal face, rough stubble along its jaw, and limbs so thin they looked starved. It wasn’t just there, it seemed to be waiting. Some who’ve seen the photos think the answer lies in the house itself. In Britain, many homes were built over medieval tunnels once used by monks fleeing sieges. If that’s the case here, perhaps something from those forgotten passageways never left… and found its way upstairs."

A member of their tour group captured a haunting image of what appears to be a small girl kneeling on the floor in the darkness of the most notorious wing of the old mental asylum. The Grevillia wing of Beechworth was where patients were given electric shock treatments and kept in strait jackets at the institution, which was operational between 1867 and 1995. To us there is no surprise why such souls can’t rest and show themselves due to the barbaric way we used to treat people with mental health issues."

"Why Does the Camera Record Someone Sitting There Every Night… When That Spot Is Always Empty?

My security guard noticed the same alert at after 1:00 AM for three nights straight.

My House backside each time, the camera captured a faint figure sitting on the edge of the stone bench, completely still.

No entry was recorded, no footsteps, no sound—just that silent presence.

On the fourth night, the guard decided to watch the live feed… and the figure slowly turned its head toward the camera.

But when he rushed outside, the place was empty—except for one thing… the bench was still warm.

The logs show no human movement, yet the figure appears at the exact same time every night.

If nothing is there… then who keeps sitting in that exact spot—and why does it notice when someone is watching?"

"I have seen many strange photos in my life, but this picture taken at that quiet and deserted place in Germany still has never left my mind.

We had gone there for sightseeing, and everything around us was completely silent, the path was empty, and at that moment we were sure no one else was nearby.

But when the photo was seen later, a crouching figure appeared in the background, kneeling low as if it had been silently watching us.

How did it get there? If the place was truly empty, then whose shadow was it? And why did I keep feeling the need to turn around again and again that day?

The most frightening part was that the figure was not just there — it seemed turned toward us, as if it knew the picture was being taken.

I tried many times to convince myself it was only a trick of light, a shadow, or a camera error, but even now my heart does not fully accept that explanation.

Sometimes a photograph does not remain just a memory; it leaves behind such a weight on the heart that even while smiling, a person never truly stops feeling afraid.

Where did that crouching figure come from in such a deserted place?

Was it really only a shadow, or something we could never understand?

Why was I already feeling uneasy even before the photo was taken?

Are there some things that only a camera can see, but a human cannot?"

"A woman claims she has discovered a terrifying apparition of a ghostly child standing behind her son in the woods.

Laura Watson, 39, was enjoying a picnic with her family at Plessey Woods Country Park in Northumberland during the sunny bank holiday Monday.

When her daughter Charlotte Hill, 15, and son Byrin Watson, 9, wanted to climb a large tree with their cousin Jack, 16, Laura decided to take some photos.

But when the medical receptionist looked back at her photos, she discovered the face of another child behind Byrin, despite there being no one else in the area at the time.

While originally sceptical of the paranormal, Laura says the picture has convinced her otherwise as she claims it is so clear.

She hopes to return to the woods as the figure has now sparked her interest in ghosts, though she hopes the apparition doesn’t ‘follow them home’.

Laura, from Newcastle, said: ‘It’s very unusual and everyone is really freaked out. Me and my daughter couldn’t even go to sleep last night because we were so scared.

‘My husband is on night shifts and I was alone and I was like “Oh God”. I was terrified in case anything had followed us back.

‘I’ve had people on our Facebook saying they are going to send me prayers.

‘I didn’t believe in anything like that until I saw this for myself.’

Many have speculated on what the figure could be, with some suggesting it could be the spirit of a boy who drowned in the woods years ago.

Laura added: ‘People are asking if Byrin had a twin and if he died but he had nothing like that. I’ve not had any kids die in my family so it couldn’t be anyone that I know.

‘It certainly isn’t something that I’m familiar with. I’ve never, ever experienced anything like it in my life.’ "
