Clowns have been gradually working their way up over the decades in the horror chart rankings. Someday they'll replace zombies in negative popularity.

They've probably become offensive, too, in at least some kind of litigation-worthy sense. I certainly wouldn't risk the ire of other parents by hiring a clown to come to a kid's birthday party. We need more specialized categories and lists to accommodate the growing number of mutating cultural taboos and ideologically un-kosher things; and a website to keep humanity updated on the new additions and changes.
