VIDEO EXCERPTS: Today, I would like to report about the economic situation here in Europe. And the first article is saying German car manufacturers are losing profits. Doesn't matter if it's Mercedes, Volkswagen or BMW.

The German auto industries are in a big crisis. US tariffs on European vehicles are tearing deep holes in the balance sheets of these companies. They are responding with austerity programs, top cuts and hope for new models, but the situation remains tense.

So, apparently the US tariffs were actually lowered from 27.5% to only 15. But still the burdens have been very high.

[...] Meanwhile, the polls are doing really well. Here they are saying that Poland could rise to 20th place among the largest economies this year, overtaking Switzerland.

[...] They have built wind turbines in a place in Bavaria where there's not a lot of wind. So now those plants are not producing much profit. This has expensive consequences for the German taxpayer because they are having to pay for it. Wow, great investment.

Also in Austria we're doing not much better. Here's our president. He announced that we have to do without a lot of things, and the president agrees to tough austerity measures. So he's saying that in times of multiple global crises, unpopular measures are necessary.

[...] Also, the healthcare system in a lot of European countries is in trouble, especially also in my country which is Austria. They are saying never before have so many people had private insurance. It's crazy what people are spending on private doctors, private surgeries. Already 39% almost 40% are privately insured. So then you are paying health insurance twice [the government system, too]. That's really expensive...
