Thank you for so quickly illustrating why people have Pride fatigue.

People tend to be proud of who they are year round. Even LGBTs. If that wears you out, move to a desert island. It's not going away any time soon.

Really? You think all/most/many people feel a conscious sense of pride year round? For example, you think heterosexuals are consciously proud of being so?

But I wasn't talking about that. I was talking about your eagerness to share your proclivities, while simultaneously not answering questions (if and how, not who).
It seems like a almost performative pride to cover for a covert or avoidant shame or secrecy.

Absolutely. Ever been to a strip bar on a Friday night? A wedding? Mardi Gras? A frat house party? School prom? A dance club? Ever seen a bumper sticker with a naked lady silhouette on it? A tattoo of your girlfriend's name? A spouse sporting a wedding ring? All solid public demonstrations of hetero pride. It's part of human nature to embrace who we are and the things we like. You should try it sometime. Even short men can find something to be proud about.

While I realize that LGBT identity is likely an ever-present awareness, you may not be aware that this is not true for heterosexuals. Even when engaging in heterosexual activity, it's usually not a conscious thing, much less one invoking pride, unless someone gets/gets with someone "out of their league."

And if you think guys at a strip bar are proud, you have a very odd idea of pride. Even weddings are usually more about love and gratitude than pride. Frat party pride tends to focus on keg stands and beer bongs. Is a mud flap silhouette a pride thing?

A public demonstration of natural human behavior isn't automatically prideful. Compare those to LGBT that have overtly and professedly "pride events."

Seems like you're trying to make a whataboutism argument with only vague arm waving.

Still avoiding questions, huh? @_@

We've already been well over this, where I explained the nature of a minority taking pride and that not justifying a majority taking pride. I'm not here to endlessly repeat arguments you lost. I gave 9 clear demonstrations of heteros proudly displaying their heterosexuality. If you're such a loser that you aren't proud of who you are I can't help you. Maybe that's why it bothers you so much. Who knows? Who cares?

Yet you just tried to claim the majority does take pride. Maybe try to remember which argument you want to stick with.

Just because you cannot fathom how people unlike you think, feel, and behave is a you problem.

They do. But a minority taking pride doesn't justify it either. It just is. See how that works?

So you think you know better about how heterosexuals think and feel than heterosexuals themselves?

Obviously better than you do. I've been surrounded by them my whole life.
