VIDEO EXCERPTS: Today I want to do another report about the news here in Europe, especially from Austria and Germany.
We Austrians like to ski a lot, and skiing has become really expensive. If you want to ski, you have to have a really good income. In this article they are telling us that skiing has become a really expensive fun sport, especially for a family. If there are two adults and two children, they will pay around €200 per day average just to ski for a day. And that's without any food, that's not even the cost of if you want to go into a restaurant or something.
[...] I remember when I was a kid, we were always skiing. And this was just normal. But now less people ski because they don't have the money anymore...
Now we finally have figures for how expensive food has become since 2021. They are saying that food on average has become 53% more expensive since 2021...
[...] Next: Austria was so bad with spending money in the last years, that now it must be remedied. Our politicians have made so many debts because of lockdowns. [...] So now the Austrian politicians have made a new savings plan for Austria, and it's really tight... [...] They are going to save on pensions and social welfare, so people who are now young will get less pension in the future. The automatic rise of social welfare is also going to end.
[...] They will stop the tax subsidies on electric vehicles. Now they say that we have problems with the electric grid, because we have too many electric vehicles. We have so many heat pumps, too, and this is also driving the price of electricity up...
