Israel-Gaza War (and Iranian Distractions)

Repeating the exact same claim from a different leftist source doesn't add credibility.

Haaretz is Israel's newspaper of record. It is known for its left-wing and liberal stances on domestic and foreign issues. - wiki

Again, if only you could read, you'd see that the claims are unsourced, unverified, and refuted by many sources.

But you antisemites are so eager to attack Jews.

Haaretz journalist under fire for appearing on antisemite's podcast
Gideon Levy joined Jackson Hinke, who has expressed support for Hamas, gave a speech recently during a visit to Houthi-controlled Sana'a, and even visited Lebanon for Nasrallah's funeral

David Remnick in The New Yorker described Haaretz as "easily the most liberal newspaper in Israel", its ideology as left-wing and its temper as "insistently oppositional".[30] According to Ira Sharkansky, Haaretz's op-ed pages are open to a variety of opinions.[44] J. J. Goldberg, the editor of the American The Jewish Daily Forward, describes Haaretz as "Israel's most vehemently anti-settlement daily paper".[45] Stephen Glain of The Nation described Haaretz as "Israel's liberal beacon", citing its editorials voicing opposition to the occupation, the discriminatory treatment of Arab citizens, and the mindset that led to the Second Lebanon War.[46] A 2003 study in The International Journal of Press/Politics concluded that Haaretz's reporting of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict was more favorable to Israelis than to Palestinians but less so than that of The New York Times.[47] In 2016, Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, wrote: "I like a lot of the people at Haaretz, and many of its positions, but the cartoonish anti-Israelism and anti-Semitism can be grating."

Less favorable to Israelis than the NYT, and even the Atlantic thinks Haaretz is "anti-Israelism and anti-Semitism."

Ooo...the Jews that report the truth of Israel's killing of palestinians are therefore antisemitic too. You're a pathetic nutjob. Get a lobotomy.

So your only rebuttal is "I don't like all the sources you cite, waa." 9_9

Google..
For the course of its longest [this] war, no reporters have been permitted entry to Gaza other than on organised and controlled 'embeds' of a few hours ...
So (surprise!) no independent reports from Gaza - which proves something and nothing.

Damning Report Accuses BBC Of Whitewashing Hamas And Fueling Anti-Israel Bias

In a blistering internal report that reads like an indictment of the BBC’s own integrity, whistleblower documents reveal that BBC Arabic deliberately downplayed Israeli suffering in the Gaza war while racing to air unverified, Hamas-sourced claims designed to cast the Jewish state as the villain. The memo, written by Michael Prescott, a former adviser to the BBC’s Editorial Guidelines Committee, accuses the Arabic service of systemic bias, misinformation, and a shocking tolerance of antisemitic voices.

According to the report, BBC Arabic repeatedly parroted Hamas talking points while omitting or minimizing Israel’s perspective — even when evidence contradicted militant propaganda. Allegations against Israel were rushed to broadcast “without adequate checks,” suggesting not mere carelessness but, as Prescott wrote, “a desire always to believe the worst about Israel.”

The BBC’s English-language coverage told one story; its Arabic wing, quite another. In July 2024, after Hezbollah rockets killed nine children in the Israeli town of Majdal Shams, the BBC’s English site mentioned the victims and Israel’s retaliation. BBC Arabic? It omitted the children’s deaths entirely, highlighted Hezbollah’s denials, and the next day suggested Israel might have faked the attack.

Just how often can a story be spun?

Syne Wrote:Hezbollah rockets killed nine children in the Israeli town of Majdal Shams

BBC UK Wrote:The strike hit a football pitch in Majdal Shams, one of four towns in the [Israeli-occupied] Golan Heights where about 25,000 members of the Arabic-speaking Druze religious and ethnic group live.

From AI.. the Druze are considered native to the Golan Heights, where they have lived for generations.

So not an attack on a Jewish settlers in an 'Israeli town' (as Syne implies?) - perhaps a stray missile or a badly chosen target or a false flag attack - I can't tell from the report. Interesting to find out Syne's view.

Apparently you completely missed the part about the BBC covering for Hezbollah. You know, the whitewashing.

Two thirds of the area was depopulated and occupied by Israel following the 1967 Six-Day War and then effectively annexed in 1981 – an action unrecognized by the international community other than the United States, which continues to consider it Israeli-occupied Syrian territory. In 2024, Israel occupied the remaining one third of the area.

The US recognizes territory held since 1967 is Israeli territory.

'Spinning' is about how people select news and how they choose to 'spin' it. In your case the spin is neglecting to mention the missile killed Druze children in a Druze town in an Israeli occupied part of Syria. Would they have died if Israel hadn't annexed the region? - Just another spin.
