Meh. Basically just another "The Day the Earth Stood Still" preacher speech, in a secular context. Which in turn is ironically descended from the original religious model: "Jesus Christ will return from Heaven to pass judgment on us and kick the ass of this sinful world". As the top 19th-century century contributors to the Left, Marxists were the quintessential-twisted atheists who perversely borrowed much of their do-gooder image tactics and deceptions from theistic movements, ideology, and history. (At least the right isn't surreptitious and disingenuous about its roots in that department.)
