Not a fan of conspiracy theories but I'm with you on this one. It’s extremely difficult to find facts nowadays. I’m glad he’s doing what he’s doing, but if it was me, I’d be frightened. Social media is splintering our country and it's a damn shame.

Correction, leftists are splintering our country. They are the only ones trying to censor opposition and shut down debate. If they hadn't built such an echo chamber, they wouldn't now be so radicalized and reality-phobic.

I initially had some hopes for Elon's Twitter takeover bid. Truth is, despite his personal wealth, he is up against entrenched forces wielding vastly greater wealth and establishment political/MSM power.
He will inevitably go down in flames. Trump tried to play it 'smart' within the establishment political system and came unstuck, once his services to Israel in particular had achieved the desired ends.

So this is about banning Kanye over antisemitism, right?
Of course it is, as you've tried to defend Hitler yourself:

Go for it idiot. Hitler had extremist policies. Master race BS and all that. I never deny such. But guess what idiot, Jewry has harbored that supremacist sentiment, at a level of hatred for all outsiders putting Nazism to shame, for millennia, not a blip two decades if that. But somehow, that FACT doesn't bother your kind in the least. Piss off.

PS - Again you play at omniscient mind reader. No - for your info - Kayne West - I have never bothered to read his statements - had absolutely NOTHING to do with my last post here.
Got that? Or perhaps you will stick with effectively claiming omniscient mind reader status. Fool.

Wow, that's a boldly delusional level of victim blaming. To claim that Jews are not only harboring Hitler's genocidal motives but surpassing it.

Please learn to read. There was a question mark at the end of that sentence, moron. But considering your continued antisemitic screeds, it's clear that you do find common cause with the likes of Kanye and Fuentes.

You're just an evil piece of shit.

There was a time when we worked together to do the right thing, but then came self-promotion, and thousand-page bills, along with slavish mediocracy and equity.

Social media is not only dividing us, but also splintering us, republicans, and democrats alike. It’s harboring tribalism. Our choices of where we live, eat, shop, etc. are based on like like-minded groups. Republican policies are hated by the democrats, but the same policies are liked when under a Democratic president.

We must learn to work with others that are different from ourselves. Sadly, I don’t see this happening anytime soon. I think it will continue to snowball, and like Yazata, I think we need to stop thinking of China as an opportunity and more of a threat.

Apple is the richest company in the world. Tim Cook said, "There's a confusion about China. The popular conception is that companies come to China because of low labor cost. I'm not sure what part of China they go to, but the truth is China stopped being the low-labor-cost country many years ago. And that is not the reason to come to China from a supply point of view. The reason is because of the skill, and the quantity of skill in one location and the type of skill it is." But we’re forgetting that China’s development as a world-class tech innovator have come about through China’s authoritarian government. Tim Cook has been silent on the recent riots at the iPhone factory. There’s been talk about them moving the company outside of China, but I highly doubt that things will change. Something about power and money comes to mind.

"You sharpen the human appetite to the point where it can split atoms with its desire. You build egos the size of cathedrals, fiber optically connect the world to every eager impulse, grease even the dullest dreams with these dollar-green, gold-plated fantasies until every human becomes an inspiring emperor, becomes his own and God, where can you go from there?"—Devil’s Advocate

I could be wrong, but I think that Elon can stay grounded. He seems to be becoming more, not less, reflective, and he has a self-deprecating sense of humor.

In a sense, this bitter quarreling transpiring in the media today isn't really new. Society has been incrementally returning over the past 35 years to the state it was in before the fairness doctrine.

I.e., back in those days when non-moderate voices were not muffled, when they had non-underground avenues to express themselves. Which unfortunately included the extremism of Southern Democrats being openly paraded, not just the communist organizations (which relabeled themselves "social democrat" after Russia [and China belatedly] finally embarrassed them enough to lose their fealty).

Use as a political weapon: Bill Ruder, Assistant Secretary of Commerce in the Kennedy administration, acknowledged that "Our massive strategy [in the early 1960s] was to use the Fairness Doctrine to challenge and harass right-wing broadcasters and hope that the challenges would be so costly to them that they would be inhibited and decide it was too expensive to continue."

Yes, and that kind of hypocrisy is particularly Democrat. But the splintering is largely at the hands of such Democrats. They are the ones who decided they can't tolerate or live in peace with anyone who disagrees with them, while Republicans are still largely live and let live.

Businesses have always taken advantage of better manufacturing markets, but only Democrats seem to extend that to making excuses for authoritarians...because they find common cause with authoritarians.

Aside from him arbitrarily refusing to unban Alex Jones, who I'm not a fan of but just on the consistency of Musk's ban amnesty, I'm pretty damn optimistic.
Just gotta beware of not thinking that any one man can save the republic. That's some of the sycophancy people fell into with Trump, but now Trump has pretty much ruined himself...but the MSM will still prop him up, desperate to recover ratings.
