The sea change was inevitable. Just 10 years ago all the states banned same sex marriage. Now it's legal everywhere. And we get the federal benefits that heteros get as well. Next of kin. Insurance. Tax benefits. Burial and inheritance rights. It's all granted now. It's a great moment in history I have lived to see.

WASHINGTON -- "The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5-4 on Friday that it is legal for all Americans, no matter their gender or sexual orientation, to marry the people they love.

The decision is a historic victory for gay rights activists who have fought for years in the lower courts. Thirty-seven states and the District of Columbia already recognize marriage equality. The remaining 13 states ban these unions, even as public support has reached record levels nationwide.

The justices found that under the 14th Amendment, states must issues marriage licenses to same-sex couples and recognize same-sex unions that were legally performed in other states. Justice Anthony Kennedy delivered the majority opinion and was joined by Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Elena Kagan, Stephen G. Breyer and Sonia Sotomayor."===http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/06/26...70036.html Heart Heart  Heart  Heart  Heart  Heart  Heart  Heart  Heart

From my POV, this eventual ruling was a suspense-less given. But even Usain Bolt still had to actually cross a finish line to make a victory into a fact. So it's important from that standpoint.

There's already threats by disgruntled Republicans to try and pass an amendment to the constitution banning same sex marriage. Boy wouldn't that sound nice? Amendment 28: "I yer a homo, you can't git married. Cuz the Bible says so. Chishtuns also don't have to bake cakes or provide flowers for homos because that's part of their religion."

Franklin Graham: Christians Must Prepare For Persecution And God's Judgment On America

SUBMITTED BY Kyle Mantyla on Friday, 6/26/2015 1:13 pm

"Fox News commentator Todd Starnes interviewed Franklin Graham today about the Supreme Court decision legalizing gay marriage in all 50 states, which Graham decried because "our government is recognizing sin" and it will lead to the persecution of Christians and God unleashing His judgment upon America.

While it is a sad day for America when the Supreme Court will "endorse sin," Graham vowed that "I will never recognize it in my heart" because "God gave us marriage and God does not change his mind."

Graham went on to warn Christians that "you had better be ready and you had better be prepared" because the wholesale persecution of Christianity will now be unleashed, as will, ultimately, God's judgment on this nation.

"I do believe that God's judgment will come on this nation," he said, noting that just as God brought judgment upon the nation of Israel in the Bible, so too will He bring judgment on America.
