As I've repeatedly told you, space aliens don't threaten my worldview, but apparently, with all your defensiveness, the lack thereof might threaten yours.
Appeals to scientism don't help.

There is no lack of unexplained phenomena in our world. And what this says about our so-called reality is far more disconcerting than any simplistic and prosaic worldview we may cling to.

Nah, just means science is the wrong tool to explain some things. Pretty simple.

UAP research is a multi-disciplinary field involving medical science, astronomy, anomalistics, psychology, high energy physics, avionic engineering, detector technology, data analytics, AI, cultural studies, philosophy, history, xenobiology, forensics, religious hermeneutics, parapsychology, sociology, meteorology, and cognitive science. All doors are opened to figuring out what the hell it is.

I've noticed more and more 'glitches in the matrix' in the last few years.

Occasionally I'm doing a Sudoku (which I often do sitting pooping, since we don't have Roman foricae available for conversation). I will look at the page, look away and when I look again the numbers are different. A number I need has appeared that I'm kinda sure wasn't there a moment earlier. I makes me wonder if reality is constantly changing in minor hard to notice ways, and we aren't aware of it since we might be changing right along with it.

Of course, I can't eliminate the possibility that my recollection was faulty.

And just today I was sitting in my living room. Nobody else was at home except me. And I remember thinking the Sun was going down and it was getting dark in the room. Then I looked at my computer and at the TV, and when I looked up again the ceiling light was on. I have no recollection of me or anyone else turning it on.

Though again, maybe my memory is starting to fail.

Fascinating. While I haven't been noticing any glitches per se in my life, the synchronicities are now basically off the hook. While it used to happen every few days, it now happens 3 or 4 times a day--something I'm reading online or thinking and the TV says that exact word, phrase, name, or even subject within about 2 seconds. There's also a precog element to my dreams. In one dream a golden retriever ran up to me with his tail wagging all happy to see me and I was petting him. The next morning I go to the park and as I'm walking along up ahead of me about 20 ft a man's golden retriever becomes all happy greeting a woman who was petting him! Little things like that.

Synchronistically I read your post last night Yazata right after watching the Lost episode about Desmond Hume turning the failsafe key in the hatch and being dislodged in time, going back to an earlier time of his life. Maybe something is going on with time. I was talking to my nephew about more people reporting the Mandela Effect where something they were sure about remembering suddenly changes. Mine involves the classic 1940's Italian film "The Bicycle Thief" now being called "The Bicycle Thieves." That was NOT the original name!

For years I've noticed revisited things (especially revolving around entertainment and non-fiction) having details and facts different from the way I remembered them. Even people who I know claiming they said or did something different from what I recall. From an internal perspective it feels like one has been migrating through a series of alternate universes. From an external or objective condemning judgement standpoint ("Reality is consistent!"), the verdict is indeed that individual human memory just isn't that reliable; it plays tricks on itself.
