If you had any real life experience in Christianity like me I'd believe that. But you don't. As usual you are only interested in attacking and maligning people you are incapable of arguing with. As if that somehow trumps my Christian experience. It doesn't.
Correction, your past Christian experience, what, 30-40 years ago?
It's pure hubris to think that is more valid than the experience of current/life-long believers.

All experience is past experience. That's what makes it so reliable. And there's no statute of limitations on understanding what Christianity teaches and how it gives you meaning in your life. It's the same gospel it's always been. But you wouldn't know that would you? As usual you are pontificating out of total ignorance and have no argument to make beyond childish ad homs and pretentious psych jargon from a mindless LLM.

You no longer believe what you did in the past, while others still believe. Are you so delusional that you think you studied more in 20 years than all others who have studied their whole lives? Can you really not see how farfetched that is? That you rejected it before your brain had fully developed into that of an adult, so your understanding is necessarily immature compared to those who continued well into adulthood.
I've repeatedly shown that you don't understand the verses you try to cite, and you've yet to have the wherewithal to adequately demonstrate otherwise. Yes, I get that you have nothing and you're so desperate you try to discount AI citations, trained on factual data. But what I haven't seen is any rebuttal of any of those facts. Just deflection, grandiose claims of your superiority over people who've studied far longer than you did. You sound like Ostro.

Yep..because once you learn about how to live a Christian life the rest is just practicing it. It's like learning to ride a bike. Once you learn it then you can ride it. You don't keep learning how to ride it for the rest of your life.
Quote:That you rejected it before your brain had fully developed into that of an adult, so your understanding is necessarily immature compared to those who continued well into adulthood.
Yep..just like I went to high school before my brain was fully developed and I learned algebra and science and other subjects. Learning doesn't start in adulthood moron. It starts from toddler age all the way up to college and beyond. So once again, what makes you an expert on learning how to be a Christian? What do you know about it? Nothing? Zilch? Nada? That's what I thought.
Quote:I've repeatedly shown that you don't understand the verses you try to cite, and you've yet to have the wherewithal to adequately demonstrate otherwise.
No..you've only Googled AI'd different interpretations of verses, which doesn't invalidate any of my understanding of those verses. If you were ever a Christian you'd know this. But you weren't. So you speak out of complete ignorance. Not even Google AI can simulate a Christian experience for you.
Quote:But what I haven't seen is any rebuttal of any of those facts.
You haven't cited any facts at all. Just people's opinions. Which aren't worth my time rebutting.
Quote:Yes, I get that you have nothing and you're so desperate you try to discount AI citations, trained on factual data.
All your LLM mentor can do is cite information of what other people opine on a subject or on a verse's meaning. That isn't factual anything. It's bullshit masquerading as fact. Which suits your purposes perfectly it appears.

So how many years have YOU studied Christianity such that you know my knowledge of the Bible is inadequate to be able to be relied on accurately? If not from there, then where did you get this amazing information about my lack of knowledge? And what makes you an authority on anything having to do with Christian religion?

It is generally considered impossible for any single person to learn everything there is to know about Christianity. While one can gain a thorough understanding of its core tenets, the religion’s immense scope, 2,000-year history, and vast theological diversity make comprehensive knowledge unattainable.

Learn how to read simple English. I didn't say "learn," I said "understand." You didn't understand how to apply what you learned in high school to different situations until later in life, as you experienced more and understood the world better.
But then... maybe it's true that you've never developed beyond high school.
The simple fact that I can readily rebut your ignorant takes on the Bible, Christianity, and Christians should tell you something.... if you weren't totally delusional. 9_9

No, it shows that you're not even aware of various interpretations other than the one you've delusionally landed on... usually completely out of context and without any support.
I use AI because I'm not wasting more time on an intellectually dishonest and lazy ass, like you. Every time I rebut your nonsense, you just ignore it (selectively quoting only the parts of my post you think you can handle). This demonstrates that your supposed understanding cannot cope with any actual, intellectual push back.

No, widely accepted interpretations that you're obviously ignorant of. And you're excuses for not rebutting anything is just your usual lazy intellectual dishonesty.

It shows you don't even know what the consensus understanding is. But you're happy just wallowing in the shit of your ignorance.
And maybe you should use LLMs more, since you have the misguided notion that one could "mentor" anything. Just another topic you ignorantly spew nonsense about.

You demonstrate your lack of knowledge regularly. Is not hard to see. I've already told you, several times, that I've studied Christianity decades longer than you. Where you seem to think you can learn it and be done, in 20 years, I know that there is never an end to learning... on pretty much any subject.
I've never claimed to be any more of an authority than any other apologist, but then, you cited two apologists as the authorities for your knowledge. So compared to you, I must be an authority on the subject... just by your own argument.

LOL No moron. Nobody has to learn everything there is to know about a religion to understand it. Otherwise there would never be any converts to it and indeed all Christians would be without adequate understanding at all. 20 years of life is plenty of time to understand Christianity and become a practicing Christian. Which beats you by what? 20 years?
Quote:I didn't say "learn," I said "understand." You didn't understand how to apply what you learned in high school to different situations until later in life, as you experienced more and understood the world better.
Learning about a subject means you are understanding it asswipe. It's the same thing. When I took an automotive mechanics course in school I learned and understood how cars operated and how to fix them. When I studied and applied the principles of Christianity for years I understood it too. There's no way I couldn't of.
Quote:No, it shows that you're not even aware of various interpretations other than the one you've delusionally landed on... usually completely out of context and without any support.
Nope..I learned how to interpret the scriptures based on context and history and the original Greek and comparison to other verses by being a faithful Christian just as many believers are. And I'm not so ignorant to claim that a scripture interpretation that turns up in a 10 second random LLM search is suddenly a fact because it is a consensus or even that it IS a consensus. That's the fallacy of argumentum ad populum. Remember that?
Quote:No, widely accepted interpretations that you're obviously ignorant of. And you're excuses for not rebutting anything is just your usual lazy intellectual dishonesty.
Widely accepted interpretations of scripture are nothing but that...widely accepted interpretations and not absolute truth. Biblical exegesis recognizes many different interpretations for scriptures depending on the context, the historical period it was written, and the translation from the original Greek. A fact you'd know about if you had any experience in being a Christian. It's why we have hundreds of denominations of different creeds and doctrines, with little agreement between them as to the intended meaning of Bible texts.
Quote:It shows you don't even know what the consensus understanding is. But you're happy just wallowing in the shit of your ignorance.
It shows that I know now, having gained the perspective of an objective non-believer, what a hopeless project it is trying to ascertain one set of modern-day applicable truths from the quagmire of ancient, multiply-translated, multiply-redacted, and decontextualized texts that all got arbitrarily chosen to constitute God's infallible word to mankind by the Catholic Church around 500 BC. If you knew anything about religion, you'd at least know that. That you don't only further confirms your own abysmal stupidity in trying to bullshit your way thru a topic you have no clue about.

Ooooo..a big Bible study pissing match! Simply put, you're a pathetic, insecure, and undereducated little twit and very likely spiritually-retarded when it comes to understanding anything like matters of the spirit. Crawl back into your fetid MAGA bunker cretin. There's simply no place here for your sickening blather and arrogant strutting about.

Otherwise there would never be any converts to it and indeed all Christians would be without adequate understanding at all. Learn to read, illiterate. No one said you have to "learn everything," as even the bit you quoted literally says that is impossible.
When you can't even understand simple English (presuming it's your first language), why would anyone believe you understand anything at all?
The idea that new converts and people with decades of study understand Christianity equally is idiotic. There's a reason Christians maintain their Bible study throughout their entire lives.

Learning and understanding are not the same thing; they are distinct, interrelated stages of cognitive development. Learning is the process of acquiring information or skills (often through memorization or repetition), while understanding is the deeper comprehension, interpretation, and ability to apply that information in context.

See where my aforementioned ability to apply it is part of understanding.
Yeah, you clearly lack that.
Plenty of people know how an internal combustion engine works, in principle, but cannot diagnose and fix problems with one. What's the last thing you repaired on a car? Changing the windshield wiper blades? 9_9

Yet you never cite any of that to justify your interpretations, and you dodge and ignore any rebuttal to yours. When you never do, we can only assume you can't. So you're just lying.
What were you, a Mormon or some other oddball denomination with idiosyncratic (from the Greek for idiot) interpretations? That's the only explanation for your ignorant takes on scripture, if you did, indeed, study for 20 years.

Yes, like I've said, you being an unbeliever obviously colors your view and makes you less understanding of actual Christians.
And you're a hypocrite, as you regularly assert that a scripture means only one thing, regardless of the rebuttals... that you patently dodge and ignore because you lack the intellectual/scriptural rigor to handle.
See, I only have to let you talk long enough and you will inevitably demonstrate your hypocrisy, ignorance, delusional sense of competence, moral/ethical dearth, etc..

You asked, over and over again, and now you suddenly claim it's a pissing match, while you've been pissing into the wind this whole time, touting your 20 years of study to gain full understanding. Moron child trying desperately to extract yourself from this ignorant and pompous little corner you've painted yourself into.
The projection here is far too spot on.
Now run off with your tail between your legs. It's clear you're just trying to beg off by dismissing arguments you clearly cannot handle and will not even attempt to.

That's what I now understand too, after 20 years of living in a self-imposed fantasyland. It basically sums up the whole matter. Tks!
