Right-wing provocateur Charlie Kirk shot

This was at an event at a college in Utah. He sets up booths at colleges and invites people to "prove me wrong", a schtick similar to other conservative wunderkinds like Ben Shapiro and Laura Loomer who thrive on debating clueless young progressives. His status is currently unknown, but an eyewitness says she saw him shot in the neck, possibly his carotid artery, as there was a lot of blood spuing out. A shooting suspect is not in custody. Hope he recovers, but a caller from the hospital said it doesn't look good. We don't need this kind of violence in either party.

No surprise there. Hard to say how orchestrated it was. Hopefully just another nut, but the revolutionaries may have emerged from the woodwork.

Trump has posted that Kirk died, on Truth social.

Really? Going there? Organized setup? Might go there if the assassin is never identified or captured...

I would look into the person who asked that, for possibly working with the shooter.

This was pretty clearly an act of political terrorism.

Exactly! I remember when it was scary just driving around with an American flag sticker on your car. I thought those days were gone. I don’t think that I’d feel safe speaking in public or even from home on a podcast.
