Pour over coffee

I've been using a pour over coffee pot with an old fashioned kettle (super long spout) to make pouring water a breeze. I highly recommend for a perfect cup of coffee every time, and I like using a steel filter, which is cleaned after every use. I didn't buy this specific brand, but any brand will be fine. This is a helpful video to learn the proper techniques, like ''wetting the bed.''

How long does it take for the water to overflow (be poured)?

From start to finish, including heating of the water, it's only about seven minutes. I highly suggest buying a kettle with an electric burner that raises the temperature of the water to roughly 210 degrees. It's remarkable that this has made such a difference in the quality of my coffee now. Before, I was boiling the water in a kettle on the stove (walking away, forgetting about it) and it would scorch the coffee, leaving the taste bland and/or sour.
