They're hardly likely to come out with "Jeez man, I can't believe anybody actually bothers to talk to you.". Not me. Obviously. I've got the potential to be a really great listener.
Possibly relevant to the OP - Bohm dialogue is a thing where everybody gets a chance to speak .. the virtue of it is obvious but often forgotten or ignored.
