If you've blinked, you might have missed that we've just updated to the newest version of the forum software.
Hopefully some of the bugs that we were having will now be quashed, but as usual it usually opens up a whole bunch more. So please keep an eye out for weird and errant behaviour and report it to this post. (Still testing)

I will check, can you clarify if you are editing straight away or after some time.
I think I've fixed it. The bug was due to trying to merge across some custom code. It seems to occasionally eat an EOL character here and there and well it throws exemptions/errors out when that happens.

Yah, that did the trick -- or at least after this amount of time the Edit button does work for me. (Earlier it was the interval immediately after posting when it was failing.)

You might have noticed (if not on a phone) now in the top right corner we have a HELP link that has some mycode information in it. It's a bit basic, but it can be worked on to be more useful in the future.

Can’t edit latest. I see a delete choice but no edit button.
However the edit button is here for this post. Is there now a time limit for editing?

I like it. Thanks!
Could we also have more time to edit? I make so many mistakes. I struggle with proof reading my own stuff. I can’t foresee any major problems occurring with the additional time. Most of us just correct minor little details. For example, look at my last sentence in this response to C C in this post. I meant to say "at the end", not "and the end".

Yeah, I'm fine with being able to edit until someone else posts to that thread.

Sorry about that, updates always have a few interesting bugs that pop up. Especially when the update is a few versions in one go.
Editing time has been relaxed.
