Another software update, so you might notice some weird behaviour as it cleans up.
It shouldn't bring about a downtime like the one in April. Keep an eye out for errant behaviour and bugs.

I done a little setting tweak to try and reduce "concurrent accesses" (it's the thing that causes 503 Service Unavailable messages which originally might have appeared rude, by stating that JUST YOU were effected, it literally meant the server hadn't ran off and that only you were being effect)
The tweak tried is by removing the No Cache header, this means that your browser now will cache more when on this site, so some things might not update correctly (Like if you change your avatar).
If this creates any problems you'll be able to post here about it and I'll then have to find an alternative solution, fingers crossed though it shouldn't create any issue.

Thanks
i had wondered about something being buggy.
noticed my browser was not recognising the buttons on the page after a while, however all other actions seemed to work.
was hoping it was not the recent net-wide adobe update lol.
assumed it was maybe a chaching or cookie issue either my side or the server side.

I've reset the no-cache back up and decided to take a slightly different approach. I'm going to be cutting back on spiders/crawlers that are for search engines of different languages, this is predominantly due to the forums being English (Be it Canadian, English, American, Australian, South African or Pigeon)
While I would like to have kept it open globally, it's just infeasible considering the number of bots growth and the fact that most of them are Eastern European, Russian and Chinese (Which means for the most part, they don't even have the same alphabet). In any event, I'm going to leave access to the robots.txt to tell their bots they are denied while clamping down on the page access. This should boost performance on the server markedly.

Update: Please bear with me, I'm currently altering how the forums icons are shown to reduce the number of files that otherwise would be downloaded by every access. So if you notice the icons missing, in the wrong order or duplicated multiple times over, I'm still processing them.
Update: Hopefully that change will be useful in the long run. Rather than downloading 32 icons that were greater than 5kb in size each, one sprite map (of about 160kb) will be downloaded instead. This should reduce the number of requests for files from the server (meaning it won't fall over so easy as well as your bandwidth should take less of a hit) It does however mean an extra CSS sheet to handle it, but it's worth it on the long run.

Update:
In the future I think I'll start warning you when I'm messing around in the server settings as I think that you might of suffered a few server mishaps as I was hastily trying to debug a setting.
(Apparently the problem was trying to negate a condition, it didn't like having the negate command in the same bracket, so adding an extra set resolved the issue.. it only took me half a dozen hours to get it to work correctly, just for the sake of two extra characters.)

often wnated to copy n paste in a table.
it appears to flash the table up, then rejects the table & just allows the content which is queued end to end.
im guessing that i for safety issues.
is it possible to have an insert table button that would allow a copy n pasted table with contents or is that too tricky ?
