I lost respect for National Geographic, when a few years ago, they came out with a series about Big Foot. It was mildly entertaining (I watched a few episodes), but complete woo.

Why is it that when I hear or read the words National Geographic, I think of that green-eyed Afghan girl on one of the covers? What a great photo that was, I think it belongs in the Louvre, right up there alongside Mona.
