At least Portland voters seem fine with the aftereffects of complacent administrators, or their polices, that they place into office. Rather than hypocritically engaging in flight from any deteriorating results. (I'm actually being complimentary due to etiquette -- I've no idea whether that's the case or not. Hopefully so. I don't see any residents stepping out to fire assault weapons up in the air or even acting perturbed by just turning on the lights to see what's going on. Of course, I guess there's the possibility that there might not be anyone home on these streets because they left some time ago.)
We had some friends coming from Arizona. They stopped here for dinner night before last. They we’re heading through to Portland and on up to Seattle. Hopefully, they’ll avoid the downtown area. What a mess, eh?
Come to Canada.....we’ll give everyone $2000 a month to sit on their ass. If they’re all or a fraction native descent then considerably more, pay no taxes and never be arrested. Many other benefits for immigrants including free housing, food, education and much, much more. Then you can sue us for even more. Free legal also. Why fight when you can get paid for doing nothing?
"Harbor Shores—the site of the Senior PGA Championship. In a course opening exhibition with Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, Arnold Palmer and Johnny Miller, Jack showed Miller the proper way to play the unique tiered 10th green at Harbor Shores.
After Miller and playing partner Palmer had their putts roll back to their feet, Miller suggested chipping it. Jack then showed him the way. The result: a 102-foot putt by the Golden Bear."
