I like (love) having seagulls chattering on the roof and rats scuttling about under the floor.

You’re a nature lover C2 . Did you weigh that against the expression ‘Happy wife, happy life’. Big Grin

If one of has to be unhappy I'm pretty sure I know which one it will be. Sad

I was wondering when you mentioned something about that before. It sounded so against the grain. Maybe you could still lure them inland with Doritos or potato chips. (Hilarious moment seagull steals crisps from shop)

As for the rodents...

And there's always re-living fond memories either vicariously or with your own videos...

I'll probably just sulk. Unlikely to match the great sulk of '93-2007 on account of the life expectancy problem. I might deliberately stay alive just to beat my own sulking record.

Scatter some French fries on the lawn and wait 5 minutes.

Hello, just driving by. I have been so busy lately, went back to work after a brief lay off. I'm grateful.

How have you all been coping with Covid? I'm an introvert, so it hasn't been as much of a hardship, as it is for my extroverted friends.

Few seem to know there even is a pandemic around here. Kept the genie in the bottle during the first months, but no putting it back now.

Since the new spike in Covid cases is no longer tracking with the deaths (and not overwhelming hospitals), it seems the number of cases doesn't mean much, except for fearmongering politicians.

I think I might be an introvert too. I've rather enjoyed the guilt free holiday aspect of lockdown. The self-employed (obviously) don't get holiday pay so this is the first holiday I've had in 14 years. We've sold our business at a huge loss but still enough that we are reasonably affluent retirees.

I rang a rather extrovert old friend about some building work - an hour later I hadn't had a chance to say much more than "Hello.".

I've recently learned that being an introvert has more to do with how we like to ''recharge,'' at the end of say, a work day. I personally like to run ...alone. Or workout...alone. I don't like happy hours and such, but enjoy a good party and spending time with friends, AFTER I've had time to myself. An extroverted person typically ''needs'' to recharge through being around others, as opposed to being alone. Would you still categorize yourself confused, as an introvert?

In other news, I've noticed ''The Science Forum'' is turning into a bit of a ghost town. I posted on there earlier, and it's one of the few posts since May. Sad That made me sad, I remember a few years ago, when that forum was so fun. Hopefully, it'll bounce back...maybe it's because everyone's dealing with Covid.
